    • Franz Wagner endures brutal Game 7 performance
Franz Wagner shot 1-of-13 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line in Sunday’s 106-94 loss to the Cavaliers, scoring six points with six rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one blocked shot in 34 minutes.

Advice: Playing in the biggest game of his brief NBA career, as were many of his Magic teammates, Wagner struggled mightily on Sunday afternoon. He could not make anything happen offensively, missing all five of his 3-point attempts while shooting 1-of-8 from two. Cleveland’s Isaac Okoro certainly deserves some credit for that, but this performance was a severe departure from the norm for Wagner. Based on the Yahoo ADP (66.6), 2023-24 went as expected for Franz, who finished the regular season as a 6th-round player in 8- and 9-cat formats. Sunday wasn’t a good way for him to go out, but Wagner will be one of Orlando’s solid building blocks moving forward. He’s eligible for a contract extension this offseason; it would be surprising if the front office did not make that happen. Rotoworld Today, 1:34 pm
    • Perfect from line in victory
Wagner amassed 26 points (7-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 11-11 FT), five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 42 minutes during Friday's 103-96 win over the Cavaliers in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Wagner went a perfect 11-of-11 from the line, helping the Magic to an impressive Game 6 victory. It was another strong performance by Wagner, who continues to develop into a key piece for Orlando. Game 7 will take place Sunday, with both teams vying for a second-round berth against the high-flying Celtics. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:21 pm
    • Franz Wagner tallies 26 points, full stat line
Franz Wagner finished Friday’s 103-96 win over Cleveland with 26 points (7-of-16 FGs, 11-of-11 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks, and one 3-pointer in 41 minutes.

Advice: The home team has not lost a game in this series, which remained the case in Game 6 on Friday. Wagner was one of three Magic starters to score at least 20 points, and the stat line shows that he was impactful on both ends of the floor. Game 6 was the second in which the third-year forward surpassed the 20-point mark, with the first being Orlando’s Game 4 triumph (34). If the Magic are to win Game 7 in Cleveland on Sunday, they will need another complete performance from Wagner. Rotoworld Friday, 7:06 pm
    • Franz Wagner turns in 14/5/6/1/1 line in Game 5
Franz Wagner posted a full line on Tuesday with 14 points (3-of-11 FGs), five rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block and one triple against the Cavaliers in Game 5.

Advice: After being a hero in the Game 4 blowout win, Wagner wasn’t quite as effective in Game 5. However, he was still able to turn in a well-rounded stat line, which partially made up for the lack of scoring in DFS formats. Unfortunately, this type of performance isn’t going to be enough for them to win the series, and Wagner will have to get back on track in Game 6 in Orlando on Friday in order to force a Game 7 on Sunday. • Josh Giddey knocks down four more triples vs. NOR
Josh Giddey lit up the Pelicans with 14 points (5-of-10 FGs), three rebounds, one assist, one block and four triples on Monday.

Advice: Giddey’s shot has been a weakness for the team’s offense all year, but he has improved drastically over the course of the season. He may have peaked during Games 3 and 4, as he knocked down four 3-pointers in each to help the Thunder complete the sweep and advance to the second round. His season-high of five 3-pointers also came in New Orleans, so he seems to really enjoy shooting on these rims. Unfortunately, he’ll have to adjust to shooting in either Dallas or Los Angeles, depending on the results of that series. Rotoworld Monday, 8:38 pm
    • Stars in Game 4 win
Wagner finished Saturday's 112-89 win over Cleveland in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with 34 points (13-17 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 13 rebounds, four assists and one block in 40 minutes.

Advice: Wagner didn't score more than 18 points through the first three matchups of the opening-round series but exploded for a game-high 34 in Game 4 and was incredibly efficient. His 34 points marked his most since Feb. 8, and his 13 rebounds were a career high. Wagner struggled mightily with his three-point shot to end the regular season, but he's made at least two triples in three of four postseason games thus far. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:43 am
    • Strong performance Saturday
Giddey notched 21 points (8-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and one steal in 31 minutes during Saturday's 106-85 victory over New Orleans in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: Giddey put together his best performance of the postseason, helping guide the Thunder to a comfortable victory. He was one of three Oklahoma City players to score at least 20 points, a feat achieved by no one for the Pelicans. Now leading the series 3-0, the Thunder will look to end things in Game 4 on Monday. • Josh Giddey produces 21/8/6/1 line with 4 triples
Josh Giddey stuffed the stat sheet on Saturday and finished with 21 points (8-of-13 FGs), eight rebounds, six assists, one steal and four 3-pointers against the Pelicans in Game 3.

Advice: Giddey played better in Game 2 than he did in Game 1, and he was even better in this one. He produced a solid stat line, and he was a threat from beyond the arc, which has been a weakness for the team. If Giddey can consistently knock down open shots, they’ll be a difficult team to slow down during this postseason. It is unlikely that he will continue to be this productive as a scorer, but he was an important piece in their big win on Saturday. If he can have another game like this, they won’t have any issues closing this series out in Game 4 on Monday. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:19 pm
    • Franz Wagner drops 34/13/4 in Game 4 win over Cavs
Franz Wagner led the Magic with 34 points (13-of-17 FGs), 13 rebounds, four assists, one block and two triples in a 112-89 win over Cleveland in Game 4 on Saturday.

Advice: Wagner took over in the third quarter, scoring 12 points in the period as Orlando outscored the Cavs 37-10. The Magic trailed by nine points at halftime, but they won by 23 because of elite defense and Wagner’s offense. He has been solid in this series, but Wagner played like a true star in this one, which was needed with Paolo Banchero (9 points) struggling. They tied the series up with two convincing wins, and they’ll need to bring some of this offense with them to Cleveland for Game 5 if they want to take a lead in this series. After averaging 84.5 points in the first two games of this series, they have averaged 116.5 over the last two. Rotoworld Saturday, 1:04 pm
