    • Ruled out for Game 3
Allen (ribs) is out for Saturday's Game 3 against the Celtics, Evan Dammarell of Right Down Euclid reports.

Advice: Allen has yet to see the court in the series against the Celtics, but he'll aim to be available for the Game 4 matchup on Monday. This means Evan Mobley will remain at center Saturday, while Isaac Okoro should also remain in the starting lineup. Rotowire.com Saturday, 4:46 pm
    • Jarrett Allen (ribs) questionable Saturday
Jarrett Allen (right rib contusion) is listed as questionable for Saturday’s Cavaliers-Celtics game.

Advice: Allen is looking to return from a five-game hiatus this weekend. Cleveland’s usual starting center hasn’t played since the first round and will likely continue to be replaced by Isaac Okoro in the starting lineup if ruled out for Saturday. Rotoworld Friday, 2:02 pm
    • Gets another questionable tag
Allen (ribs) is questionable for Saturday's Game 3 against the Celtics.

Advice: Allen has missed five straight games and was listed as questionable ahead of each of them, so his current status doesn't provide increased optimism. The Cavaliers were surprisingly able to even the series with a Game 2 victory Thursday, and the potential return of their star big man would be another major momentum shift, especially with Kristaps Porzingis (calf) expected to be sidelined for at least a few more games. However, if Allen remains sidelined, Isaac Okoro would likely draw another start. Rotowire.com Friday, 1:36 pm
    • Doesn't participate in shootaround
Allen (ribs), who is listed as questionable, did not participate in morning shootaround in advance of Thursday's Game 2 against the Celtics, Bobby Manning of CLNS Media reports.

Advice: Allen's rib injury has cost him four consecutive games, and it appears a fifth is on the horizon. We may not get official confirmation on the center's status until closer to tipoff, but his lack of participation in shootaround is a discouraging sign. If he remains out, Evan Mobley should continue serving as the Cavaliers' center while Max Strus and Isaac Okoro play the two forward spots. Rotowire.com Thursday, 10:21 am
    • Obi Toppin contributes 20 points in Game 2 loss
Obi Toppin accounted for 20 points (7-of-10 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), three rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 20 minutes in Wednesday’s 130-121 loss to the Knicks.

Advice: Indiana heads home trailing two games to none, but they should be encouraged by Toppin’s play in the Big Apple. After scoring 12 points in Game 1, he tallied 20 more in Game 2 and has reached double figures in six straight. Toppin’s play on Wednesday helped the Pacers on a night when they got little from Myles Turner (six points, seven rebounds, one assist, and one blocked shot). Indiana’s bench dominated the first two games, outscoring New York by a 46-12 margin in Game 2. The series shifts to Indianapolis for Game 3 on Friday night. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:34 pm
    • Poor shooting display Tuesday
Garland had 14 points (6-15 FG, 2-8 3Pt), three rebounds, five assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 120-95 loss to the Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Garland is in line for a rough matchup in this series, as he'll have to deal with two excellent defenders in Jrue Holiday and Derrick White, so his Game 1 display is not entirely surprising. He didn't have his best performances in the first-round series against the Magic either, and he's averaging just 14.8 points and 5.4 assists per game through eight playoff appearances. In fact, Garland has failed to surpass the 15-point mark in six of his eight playoff outings, a clear downgrade after averaging 18.0 points per contest during the regular season. • Stuffs stat sheet in Game 7 win
Garland finished with 12 points (3-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, four assists and three steals across 30 minutes during Sunday's 106-94 victory over the Magic in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Garland struggled badly from the floor and finished with more field-goal attempts than points scored. However, the speedy point guard salvaged his fantasy performance by delivering decent numbers in other categories. The Cavaliers need Garland to play a more prominent role on offense during the Eastern Conference Semifinals matchup against the Celtics, as he averaged only 14.9 points per game while shooting 44.9 percent from the floor in the first round. • Top distributor in double-double
Conley had 14 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, 10 assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Saturday's 106-99 win over the Nuggets in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Conley led all players in Saturday's Game 1 in assists while ending as one of four Timberwolves in double figures in scoring and as the lone player with a double-double in a winning effort. Conley, who connected on a team-high-tying trio of threes, reached double digits in assists for the first time this postseason, and he has recorded at least 10 points and seven dimes in three playoff outings. Rotowire.com May 4, 8:13 pm
    • Mike Conley delivers double-double in Game 1 win
Mike Conley shot 5-of-8 from the field and finished Sunday’s win over Denver with 14 points, 10 dimes, four boards, a steal and three triples across 31 minutes.

Advice: After a disappointing Game 1 against the Suns, Conley provided solid play over the final three games of the first-round sweep. The veteran point guard isn’t going to dazzle with scoring, but he’s an efficient shooter who knows how to pick his spots, knock down triples when needed and get teammates involved. Conley dished 10 assists in six regular-season games, and Minnesota won all of them, so it’s no surprise the Wolves were able to extend that streak on Saturday. Conley and Co. will look for another upset win when they return to Ball Arena for Game 2 on Monday. Rotoworld May 4, 7:34 pm
