• Mike Conley delivers double-double in Game 1 win
Mike Conley shot 5-of-8 from the field and finished Sunday’s win over Denver with 14 points, 10 dimes, four boards, a steal and three triples across 31 minutes.

Advice: After a disappointing Game 1 against the Suns, Conley provided solid play over the final three games of the first-round sweep. The veteran point guard isn’t going to dazzle with scoring, but he’s an efficient shooter who knows how to pick his spots, knock down triples when needed and get teammates involved. Conley dished 10 assists in six regular-season games, and Minnesota won all of them, so it’s no surprise the Wolves were able to extend that streak on Saturday. Conley and Co. will look for another upset win when they return to Ball Arena for Game 2 on Monday. Rotoworld 24 minutes ago
  • Is this your king? Playoff Murray stinks it up
Jamal Murray provided 17 points on 6-of-14 shooting in Saturday’s Game 1 loss, adding four assists, a rebound and two triples across 34 minutes.

Advice: Murray balled out in the first round against the Lakers, averaging 23.6 points, 4.6 boards, 7.2 dimes, 1.0 blocks and 2.0 triples and nailing two game-winners in the process. Murray was held scoreless in the first half, and he was far from that level of effectiveness against Minnesota. He’s delivered some monumental games in the playoffs over the last two seasons, so we’ll chalk this one up to an off night. He’s also dealing with a lingering calf issue, but it’s unclear how much that injury contributed to Saturday’s poor showing. Rotoworld 34 minutes ago
  • Jamal Murray (calf) available for Game 1 Saturday
Jamal Murray (left calf strain) is officially available for Saturday’s game against the Timberwolves.

Advice: An hour after Nuggets coach Michael Malone said he expected Murray to play, the starting point guard was officially cleared. He will take on his usual role within the rotation, with Reggie Jackson remaining the backup. Rotoworld Today, 3:23 pm
  • Will play in Game 1
Murray (calf) will play in Game 1 against the Timberwolves on Saturday, Harrison Wind of TheDNVR.com reports.

Advice: Murray went through his usual warmup for Game 1 and completed it with no setbacks, so the star floor general will be available to handle his regular workload in the series opener against Minnesota. Murray was stellar in the first round against the Lakers, hitting two game-winning shots and averaging 23.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game. Rotowire.com Today, 3:22 pm
  • Craig Porter Jr. (ankle) out for Game 7 on Sunday
Craig Porter Jr. (left ankle sprain) is out for Sunday’s game against the Magic.

Advice: Porter’s continued absence will not impact the Cavaliers’ rotation, as he has not played since the regular season finale. Even if he were healthy, starters Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell will log heavy minutes as Cleveland looks to avoid another first-round exit. Rotoworld Today, 2:41 pm
  • Out again Sunday
Porter (ankle) will not play in Sunday's Game 7 against the Magic.

Advice: This will be the seventh game in a row on the shelf for Porter, and he remains without a timetable for a return. Rotowire.com Today, 2:36 pm
  • Expected to play Saturday
Denver coach Michael Malone said he expects Murray (calf) to play in Saturday's Game 1 versus Minnesota, but he remains a game-time call, Brendan Vogt of TheDNVR.com reports.

Advice: Murray will go through his usual warmup for Game 1, and if he gets through it without any setbacks, he should be all set to take the court. Murray was terrific in the previous round against the Lakers, posting 23.6 points and 7.2 assists per game. Rotowire.com Today, 2:25 pm
  • Jamal Murray (calf) expected to play in Game 1
Nuggets coach Michael Malone said during his pregame availability that he expects Jamal Murray (left calf strain) to be available for Saturday’s game against the Timberwolves.

Advice: Murray’s game-winner in Game 5 of Denver’s first-round series against the Lakers advanced the champs into the second round while also giving him valuable time off. The Nuggets have not played since Monday, and while their starting point guard remains questionable for Saturday, the expectation is that he will play. Should that not be the case, Reggie Jackson would move into the starting lineup. Rotoworld Today, 2:24 pm
  • Picks up option for 2024-25
Ball (knee) has picked up the $21.4 million player option in his contract for the 2024-25 season, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Advice: Ball continues to work toward a potential comeback before he hits the open market next summer, as he signed an original four-year, $80 million free agent deal in 2021, so it was a no-brainer for him to pick up this option. Ball hasn't logged minutes at the NBA level since Jan. 2022, but both the player and the organization are hopeful he'll be able to step on the hardwood at some point during the 2024-25 campaign.
