    • Cold shooting in Game 2 defeat
Murray finished with eight points (3-18 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals across 36 minutes during Monday's 106-80 loss to Minnesota in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Murray has struggled badly in the postseason when it comes to his efficiency despite the fact he had some good moments in the series against the Lakers. However, Monday's game was a new low for him, as he missed 15 of his 18 shots and didn't reach the 10-point plateau for the first time since Feb. 29. Murray needs to bounce back if the Nuggets want to have a shot at turning things around. He's averaging 12.5 points per game while shooting just 28.1 percent from the floor in his first two appearances in the series. Rotowire.com Today, 5:48 am
    • Jamal Murray (calf) struggles in Game 2 blowout
Jamal Murray (left calf strain) shot 3-of-18 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Monday’s 106-80 loss to the Timberwolves, finishing with eight points, 13 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in 36 minutes.

Advice: Murray had a rough night at the office, as Denver fell into an 0-2 hole. He struggled with his shot throughout and was also visibly frustrated with the officials. Things reached a head during the second quarter when an angry Murray threw a heat pack onto the court. No technical foul was called at the time, but the NBA is likely to hand down a punishment of some kind before Game 3 on Friday. The three days off come at a good time for Murray, who is in serious need of some time to rest his ailing calf. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:09 pm
    • Jamal Murray (calf) available for Game 2 Monday
Jamal Murray (left calf strain) is available for Monday’s game against the Timberwolves.

Advice: As expected, Murray is available for Game 2, with the Nuggets trailing 1-0. He still isn’t 100%, but the Nuggets guard will continue to play through the injury. Reggie Jackson’s role becomes more critical with Murray’s injury, especially with Denver not getting much production from its bench in Game 1. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:16 pm
    • Cleared for Game 2
Murray (calf) will play in Monday's Game 2 against the Timberwolves, Harrison Wind of TheDNVR.com reports.

Advice: Murray is still battling a nagging calf injury that he picked up during Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs against the Lakers, but it won't force him to miss Monday's clash. He was held in check during Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals; however, the point guard has shown that he can make clutch shots when his team needs them most, even if he's not at 100 percent. • Jamal Murray (calf) questionable for Game 2 Monday
Jamal Murray (left calf strain) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Timberwolves.

Advice: While Murray has refused to make any excuses regarding the strained calf, it was clear during Saturday’s series opener that he is not playing at full strength. Reggie Jackson would be next in line if the Nuggets are forced to play without their starting point guard, but look for Murray to play through the pain in a game the reigning champs can’t afford to lose. • Questionable for Game 2
Murray is questionable for Monday's Game 2 against the Timberwolves due to a left calf strain.

Advice: Murray continues to play through the calf issue but wasn't at his best during Sunday's Game 1 loss, as he posted only 17 points and four assists. Despite not being 100 percent, he averaged 23.6 points, 7.2 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 39.8 minutes during the opening-round series against the Lakers, including two game-winning shots. Murray is likely more probable than questionable, but his official availability will be a game-time decision. Rotowire.com Sunday, 1:35 pm
    • Nears 20 points in Game 1 defeat
Murray racked up 17 points (6-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound and four assists over 34 minutes during Saturday's 106-99 loss to Minnesota in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Murray wasn't as strong as we've seen him in the past in Saturday's contest, but he still managed to end three points shy of the 20-point mark while ending as one of three Nuggets with 15 or more points in a losing effort. It will be key to see how Murray, who has been dealing with calf discomfort of late, is able to perform throughout the semifinals and to monitor whether his injury limits him to any extent against a talented Timberwolves squad. • Is this your king? Playoff Murray stinks it up
Jamal Murray provided 17 points on 6-of-14 shooting in Saturday’s Game 1 loss, adding four assists, a rebound and two triples across 34 minutes.

Advice: Murray balled out in the first round against the Lakers, averaging 23.6 points, 4.6 boards, 7.2 dimes, 1.0 blocks and 2.0 triples and nailing two game-winners in the process. Murray was held scoreless in the first half, and he was far from that level of effectiveness against Minnesota. He’s delivered some monumental games in the playoffs over the last two seasons, so we’ll chalk this one up to an off night. He’s also dealing with a lingering calf issue, but it’s unclear how much that injury contributed to Saturday’s poor showing. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:25 pm
    • Expected to play Saturday
Denver coach Michael Malone said he expects Murray (calf) to play in Saturday's Game 1 versus Minnesota, but the point guard remains a game-time call, Brendan Vogt of TheDNVR.com reports.

Advice: Murray will go through his usual warmup for Game 1, and if he gets through it without any setbacks, he should be set to take the court. Murray was terrific in the previous round against the Lakers, posting 23.6 points and 7.2 assists per game. Rotowire.com Saturday, 2:25 pm
