      Darius Garland led Cleveland with 30 points (12-of-27 FGs), three rebounds, seven assists, two steals and four triples in a 109-102 loss to the Celtics in Game 4 on Monday.

      Advice: Cleveland had to play this game without Donovan Mitchell, who was sidelined with a calf injury. That meant that Garland was going to be asked to do a lot more, and he rose to the occasion. It wasn’t enough for them to get the win, but he had by far his best game of this postseason. If Mitchell remains sidelined for Game 5 on Wednesday, Garland will once again have to orchestrate Cleveland’s offense like he did in this game.       Advice: Garland led all Cavaliers in scoring while connecting on a quartet of threes, handing out a team-high-tying assist total and adding a pair of steals in a well-rounded Game 4 against the Celtics. Garland, playing with more weight on his shoulders to lead the short-handed Cavaliers offensively, posted his highest scoring total of the postseason thus far.       Advice: Aside from a “subpar” performance in their Game 2 loss, Brown has been fantastic this series. He has now scored at least 25 points in five games this postseason, three of which have been in this series. The Jays have been unstoppable, and there’s no reason to think that they won’t stay hot in Game 5 with the series shifting back to Boston. Securing this win will give them a chance to close out the series at home on Wednesday and make a return to the conference finals for the third straight year and the fourth time in the last five years.       Advice: Brown was part of a dominant pairing alongside Jayson Tatum, leading Boston offensively en route to helping the team take a 3-1 series advantage. Brown connected on a pair of threes while ending as one of two players with 25 or more points in the victory, also finishing two rebounds shy of a double-double.       Advice: Tatum did a little bit of everything to lead Boston to taking a commanding 3-1 series lead, pacing all players in Monday's contest in scoring and rebounds while shooting a perfect mark from the free-throw line and adding a handful of assists along with a pair of steals. Tatum has scored 25 or more points in three of his four games against Cleveland, turning things up a notch over the last two contests while posting at least 30 points, 10 rebounds and five dimes in each game.       Advice: Just like they did in the first round, the Celtics responded after a disappointing Game 2 loss. Tatum scored 33 points for the second straight game to help Boston reclaim homecourt advantage and take a 3-1 lead in this series. He got off to a hot start and scored 16 points in the first quarter to help Boston take an early lead. He was much better in their two road games, but he shouldn’t have any issues keeping this production up as they head home to try and close out the series on Wednesday and return to the Eastern Conference Finals.       Jaylen Brown accumulated 28 points on 13-of-17 shooting in Saturday’s win over the Cavs, adding nine rebounds, three assists, a steal and two three-pointers across 41 minutes.

      Advice: Brown finished behind only Jayson Tatum (33 points) for team lead in the scoring department, and the former is Boston’s leading scorer thus far into the playoffs with an average of 24.2. He dropped 32 in Game 1 and “fell off” a bit in Game 2 with 19 points on just 7-of-17 shooting, so it was nice to see a bounce-back effort in this one. He and Tatum have scored at least 25 points in a playoff game 14 times, trailing only Larry Bird and Kevin McHale (17 such games) for most in Celtics history. Rotoworld Saturday, 8:11 pm

      Jayson Tatum compiled 33 points (11-of-25 FG), 13 rebounds, six assists, a steal, a block and a pair of triples across 42 minutes in Saturday’s 106-93 win over Cleveland.

      Advice: Tatum came into this one averaging 21.7 points and 10.0 boards in this season’s playoffs, but he came through with new season highs in points and boards. Tatum wasn’t particularly efficient, but he led his team on offense and came away with his sixth double-double in his last eight games. Boston’s superstar forward averaged 26.0 points and 11.3 rebounds in three regular-season matchups with Cleveland, so Saturday’s strong performance shouldn’t be a big surprise.
