The performance marked White's sixth consecutive with at least 13 points and four assists, and he's committed only four total turnovers during this stretch compared to nine steals and 11 blocks.       Advice: In addition to Holiday's solid stats, which included zero turnovers, he was a team-high plus-20. Not only that, but no Mavericks player registered a field-goal attempt while Holiday was the primary defender. While Holiday is expected to play a smaller offensive role than the last time he was in the NBA Finals with the Bucks, he will remain one of the most impactful defenders in this series.       Derrick White amassed 15 points (5-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, five assists, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes in Thursday’s win over the Mavericks.

      Advice: Boston opened the 2024 NBA Finals on a high note, as they blitzed the Mavericks early and kept the visitors at a safe distance throughout. White was one of six Celtics in double figures and one of two players (Jayson Tatum) to make three 3-pointers on the night. The Celtics shot 16-of-42 from deep as a team, outscoring Dallas by a 48-21 margin. Backcourt sidekick Jrue Holiday also had a good night, as he finished with 12 points, eight rebounds, five assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes.       Nic Claxton is expected to remain with the Nets on a four-year deal, per Yahoo’s Jake Fischer.

      Advice: Claxton will be a coveted free agent, but Brooklyn is expected to retain him on a deal that will cost them anywhere from $80-100 million over four years. He has been an excellent fantasy option the last two years, and that won’t change if he remains with the Nets. However, that will likely prevent Noah Clowney from moving into a prominent role in his second season with the team.       Jaden McDaniels logged 21 minutes in Thursday’s 124-103 loss to the Mavericks, amassing eight points (3-of-6 FGs), one rebound, two blocks, and two 3-pointers.

      Advice: McDaniels struggled with fouls in Game 5, playing a series-low 21 minutes as a result. After scoring 24 points in the series opener, the Timberwolves wing struggled in Games 2 and 5 while producing solid all-around efforts in Games 3 and 4. McDaniels is one of the top wing defenders in the NBA, but his fantasy value is capped due to his being no higher than fourth in the offensive pecking order on most nights. While his status as a starter led many fantasy managers to select Jaden with a late-round pick (Yahoo ADP: 114), he finished just inside the top 200 in 9-cat formats.
