    • Remains out, but making progress
Williamson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday's Game 4 against the Thunder.

Advice: There was optimism that Williamson could return at some point in the postseason if New Orleans advanced, and that remains true as coach Willie Green said Sunday morning the superstar forward was cleared for stationary basketball drills, per Erin Summers of Bally Sports New Orleans. However, Williamson still isn't running and remains out while rehabbing a left hamstring strain he suffered during the team's first Play-In Tournament game against the Lakers. The Pelicans season will be on the line Monday, so the positive update on Williamson may be for naught. Rotowire.com 28 minutes ago

    • Tyrese Maxey finishes Game 4 loss with 23 points
Tyrese Maxey accounted for 23 points (8-of-21 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, six assists, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 43 minutes in Sunday’s Game 4 loss to the Knicks.

Advice: Maxey and the 76ers are now on the brink of elimination, and his production decreased in Philadelphia’s two home games. After shooting 54% from the field in Games 1 and 2 (68 points), Maxey shot 17-of-42 and scored 48 at home. That isn’t terrible, but the decrease becomes magnified when the “supporting cast” continues to offer limited value. Kyle Lowry (7/5/7 with one 3-pointer) shot 1-of-6 from the field, and Tobias Harris (10 points, eight rebounds) was 4-of-10. Game 5 is on Tuesday in New York, with Philadelphia facing a 3-1 deficit. • Another quiet outing
Strus produced seven points (3-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt), one rebound, three assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Saturday's 112-89 loss to the Magic in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Strus has failed to score more than seven points in four straight games to start the postseason. He's shooting 38.5 percent from the field during that stretch. Strus grabbed only two rebounds during the two losses in Orlando after totaling 18 boards across the two wins in Cleveland. Rotowire.com Today, 7:23 am
    • Delivers eight dimes in Game 3 loss
Booker accumulated 23 points (8-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 42 minutes during Friday's 126-109 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: Booker finished just two assists away from recording a double-double in Game 3, and the star guard will need to be at his best Sunday if the Suns want to avoid getting swept in the first round. Booker's scoring numbers have increased with each passing game in the series, though this was the first time he surpassed the 20-point plateau. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:47 am
    • Devin Booker scores team-high 28 points in loss
Devin Booker led the Suns with 28 points (10-of-19 FGs), four rebounds, four assists and six triples in a 126-109 loss to Minnesota in Game 3 on Friday.

Advice: Phoenix’s big three combined to score 76 points on 26-of-52 shooting from the floor. None of them had a spectacular performance, but their total output was solid and efficient. However, it still wasn’t enough. Booker led the way, though he did pad his stats at the end with a few garbage-time buckets. If they want to keep their season alive in Game 4 on Sunday, they’re going to need a big performance from either Booker of KD. This was Book’s best game of the series, so we’ll see if he can carry anything over into the next one. Rotoworld Friday, 10:51 pm
    • Tyrese Maxey tallies 25 points, seven assists
Tyrese Maxey finished Thursday’s Game 3 win over the Knicks with 25 points (9-of-21 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and three 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

Advice: After scoring 33 and 35 points in the series’ first two games, Maxey did not shoot the ball as well in Game 3. However, the winner of the NBA’s Most Improved Player award managed turnovers better than he did in the two losses in New York. Maxey committed just one turnover in Game 3 after tallying seven in Games 1 (three) and two (four). Even if the field-goal percentage isn’t always where it should be, Maxey is talented enough to compensate for that with increased production in other areas. Philadelphia will look to even the series at two games apiece on Sunday. Rotoworld Thursday, 7:37 pm
    • Shams: Zion Williamson likely out for first round
Zion Williamson (left hamstring) could return if New Orleans makes it out of the first round, per Shams Charania.

Advice: If Williamson plays during this postseason, it will require the Pelicans to make it out of the first round. They’re currently down 0-2 to the top-seeded Thunder and lost by 32 points on Wednesday. Anything can happen in the playoffs, but it seems like Zion’s next game will be their season opener in October. Rotoworld Thursday, 8:39 am

    • Goes for 26 points Wednesday
Holmgren chipped in 26 points (9-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 124-92 win over the Pelicans in Game 2 of the Western Conference first round.

Advice: Holmgren was expected to have a tough matchup while being guarded by Jonas Valanciunas, but the rookie has looked outstanding in his first two playoff contests, posting a double-double in Game 1 and delivering his best scoring output in more than a month in the second game of the series. Holmgren should continue to have a prominent role for the Thunder in Game 3 on Saturday. Rotowire.com Thursday, 6:00 am
    • Efficient despite loss in Game 2
Jones chipped in 18 points (6-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 124-92 loss to the Thunder in Game 2 of the Western Conference first round.

Advice: Jones posted his best performance of the current postseason run, but his efforts were not enough as the Pelicans suffered a 32-point loss and now face an 0-2 deficit in the first-round series. Jones has scored in double digits in just four of his 12 appearances this month, and this 18-point output tied his best scoring mark since posting a 19-point effort against Miami on Feb. 23, so he's not expected to carry the Pelicans on offense in Game 3 on Saturday.
