Donovan Mitchell finished Saturday’s loss to Boston with 33 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and seven triples across 43 minutes.

Advice: Mitchell was Cleveland’s go-to option, and he led the team in scoring once again. Spida was an efficient 12-of-22 from the floor, including a blistering 7-of-12 from beyond the arc. It was an outstanding individual effort, but the rest of the team did next to nothing to help the superstar out. Isaac Okoro, Darius Garland and Max Strus combined for just 23 points on 9-of-30 shooting. Mitchell averaged nearly 29 points per game in his first-round series with Orlando, and he’s averaged 31.7 points through his first three games of the Eastern Conference semis. There’s no doubt Mitchell will show up to play for Monday’s Game 4, but his teammates will need to get going if the Cavs hope to even up the series with Boston. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:58 pm

Rudy Gobert shot 3-of-5 from the field and 0-of-2 from the foul line in Minnesota’s Game 3 loss to the Nuggets, finishing with six points, four rebounds, and one assist in 27 minutes.

Advice: After missing Game 2 to be present for the birth of his first child, Gobert was back in the lineup for Game 3. He and the Timberwolves attempted to land a decisive blow early in Friday’s game but failed, and the reigning champions eventually pulled away. Neither Gobert nor Naz Reid (7/1/1/1 with one 3-pointer in 21 minutes) could do much with Nikola Jokic, who finished with a plus-30 rating. Donte DiVincenzo shot 12-of-26 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line in Friday’s Game 3 loss to the Pacers, tallying 35 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block, and seven 3-pointers in 44 minutes.

Advice: With OG Anunoby (hamstring) sidelined, the Knicks looked to DiVincenzo even more than usual in Game 3. And he answered the call, knocking down seven 3-pointers and scoring 35 points with a full stat line. The Pacers will pay even more attention to DiVincenzo in Sunday’s Game 4, but that isn’t going to make him “gun shy.” Look for the Big Ragu, who has scored at least 25 points in all three games of this series, to put up a lot of shots as the Knicks attempt to steal one on the road. Josh Giddey played 11 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Mavericks, accounting for eight points (3-of-6 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs) and two rebounds.

Advice: If the first two games of this series are any indication, this may not be the series for Giddey. After logging 17 minutes in Tuesday’s Game 1 victory, he played 11 in Game 2, with Aaron Wiggins starting the third quarter. Wiggins, who finished with nine points, two rebounds, one block, and one 3-pointer, can serve as another floor spacer to open up driving lanes for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams. Giddey, whom Mavericks center Daniel Gafford sometimes defended, does not possess that ability. Don’t be surprised if Giddey continues to lose minutes to Wiggins and Cason Wallace (six points, three rebounds, one assist, and two steals in 21 minutes) moving forward. Rotoworld Thursday, 9:38 pm

Donovan Mitchell tallied 29 points (10-of-19 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), seven rebounds, eight assists, and five 3-pointers in 39 minutes in Thursday’s Game 2 win over the Celtics.

Advice: Cleveland earned a split of Games 1 and 2, with a common theme for both games being Boston’s inability to slow down Mitchell. After dropping in 33 points in Game 1, Spida scored 29 in Game 2 before both coaches decided to clear their benches with a little over four minutes remaining. Also, Mitchell was more efficient as a scorer and playmaker on Thursday, with the eight assists countered by just one turnover. Mitchell will get his in this series; Cleveland’s chances of winning depend on the “others” stepping up. They did in Game 2 and will need to do the same in Game 3 on Saturday.
