    • Josh Giddey logs 12 minutes in Game 4 victory
Josh Giddey only logged 12 minutes on Monday and finished with five points (2-of-8 FGs), two assists, one steal, one block and one triple against Dallas.

Advice: Giddey played well over the final three games of their first round sweep of the Pelicans, but he hasn’t been able to replicate that success against Dallas. He has been a liability on both ends of the floor, which has resulted in him playing just 13.3 minutes per game through the first four games. Mark Daigneault hasn’t moved him to a reserve role yet, but he has basically been splitting minutes with Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Joe and Cason Wallace. Joe ended up starting the second half in place of Giddey in this one. Don’t expect Daigneault to make a starting lineup change now, but all four players should continue to see minutes in the low teens, with the hot hand seeing a larger role. Rotoworld Today, 9:42 pm
    • Darius Garland drops 30 in Game 4 loss to Boston
Darius Garland led Cleveland with 30 points (12-of-27 FGs), three rebounds, seven assists, two steals and four triples in a 109-102 loss to the Celtics in Game 4 on Monday.

Advice: Cleveland had to play this game without Donovan Mitchell, who was sidelined with a calf injury. That meant that Garland was going to be asked to do a lot more, and he rose to the occasion. It wasn’t enough for them to get the win, but he had by far his best game of this postseason. If Mitchell remains sidelined for Game 5 on Wednesday, Garland will once again have to orchestrate Cleveland’s offense like he did in this game. This has been a disappointing playoff run for Garland, but this was an encouraging performance that showed that he can still shine when he needs to. Rotoworld Today, 7:24 pm
    • Leads offensively in Game 4 loss
Garland accumulated 30 points (12-27 FG, 4-13 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 40 minutes during Monday's 109-102 loss to Boston in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Garland led all Cavaliers in scoring while connecting on a quartet of threes, handing out a team-high-tying assist total and adding a pair of steals in a well-rounded Game 4 against the Celtics. Garland, playing with more weight on his shoulders to lead the short-handed Cavaliers offensively, posted his highest scoring total of the postseason thus far. He has recorded at least 14 points and four assists in all four games against Boston in the semifinals. Rotowire.com Today, 7:15 pm
    • Won't play Monday
Mitchell (calf) has been ruled out for Monday's Game 4 against the Celtics, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Advice: Mitchell had been stellar over his last six postseason appearances, averaging 35.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.0 steals in 35.3 minutes. However, he suffered a strained left calf during Game 3 and will be sidelined for a critical matchup in Cleveland. With Mitchell out, Caris LeVert may slide into the starting lineup at shooting guard, while Isaac Okoro, Sam Merrill and Marcus Morris are also candidates for increased offensive roles. • Woj: Donovan Mitchell (calf) ruled out for Game 4
Donovan Mitchell (left calf strain) has been ruled out for Game 4 against Boston on Monday.

Advice: Mitchell’s calf started bothering him in Game 3, and now Cleveland will have to play Game 4 without their star player. This is a massive loss for the Cavs, who will have to try to defend homecourt without Spida, who is averaging 31.7 points per game in this series. Caris LeVert should start in his place, but everyone will have to step up for them to have a chance. Rotoworld Today, 3:05 pm
    • Not present at shootaround
Mitchell (calf) wasn't present for morning shootaround and remains questionable for Monday's Game 4 matchup with the Celtics in the Eastern Conference semifinal round, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Mitchell is tending to a strained left calf, but it would be a major surprise if he wasn't cleared to play in advance of Monday's 7 p.m. ET tipoff. He didn't seem to be limited by the injury in the Cavaliers' 106-103 loss to the Celtics in Game 3 on Saturday, producing 33 points (12-22 FG, 7-12 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two steals in 43 minutes. • Donte DiVincenzo goes cold, scores seven points
Donte DiVincenzo played 32 minutes in Sunday’s Game 4 loss to the Pacers, tallying seven points (3-of-13 FGs), five rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, and one 3-pointer.

Advice: After catching fire in the Knicks’ Game 3 loss on Friday, DiVincenzo could not find his groove in Game 4. And that was the case for the team as a whole, as New York was outscored by a 34-14 margin in the first quarter and never got back into the game. DiVincenzo was subbed out late in the third quarter as the last starter to exit Sunday’s loss. The Knicks host Game 5 on Tuesday, with the series tied at two. Given how shorthanded New York is, their hope has to be that the extra time on the bench in Game 4 will give their stars a boost. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:58 pm
    • Donovan Mitchell (calf) questionable for Game 4
Donovan Mitchell (left calf strain) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Celtics.

Advice: Mitchell played 43 minutes in Saturday’s Game 3 loss and injured his calf in the process. His injury is especially concerning for a team that was already down one starter (Jarrett Allen). If Mitchell cannot play on Monday, Caris LeVert is the player who will have to step up. Also, the Cavaliers will need more production from Darius Garland. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:45 pm
    • Iffy for Game 4
Mitchell is questionable for Monday's Game 4 against Boston with a strained left calf, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Advice: Mitchell seemingly picked up the injury during Cleveland's Game 3 loss, when he generated 33 points in 43 minutes of action. With Jarrett Allen (rib) also questionable, the Cavaliers could find themselves rather shorthanded for Monday's tilt. If Mitchell can't go, Caris LeVert would likely enter the first unit, while Isaac Okoro and Sam Merrill could see more minutes off the bench. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:44 pm
