      Advice: Murray has been in and out of Denver's practices this week but was able to play in all five of Denver's first-round games against the Lakers.       Advice: The first game of the second round will start on Saturday, and Murray is still dealing with a strain in his calf. It didn’t keep him out of any games in the first round, and it certainly didn’t do much to slow down his production.       Ivica Zubac tallied 15 points (7-of-8 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 26 minutes in Wednesday’s 123-93 loss to the Mavericks.

      Advice: While he has reached double figures in points in all five games, Zubac’s influence on the boards has waned since Games 1 and 2. Having grabbed 27 rebounds in those contests, he produced 18 in Games 3 through 5. Add in Dallas’ ability to exploit the Clippers’ defensively in the two-man game, with Dereck Lively II receiving multiple lobs in Game 5, and this wasn’t as good a night for Zubac as the shooting accuracy would lead some to believe.       Franz Wagner posted a full line on Tuesday with 14 points (3-of-11 FGs), five rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block and one triple against the Cavaliers in Game 5.

      Advice: After being a hero in the Game 4 blowout win, Wagner wasn’t quite as effective in Game 5. However, he was still able to turn in a well-rounded stat line, which partially made up for the lack of scoring in DFS formats. Unfortunately, this type of performance isn’t going to be enough for them to win the series, and Wagner will have to get back on track in Game 6 in Orlando on Friday in order to force a Game 7 on Sunday.       Hachimura chipped in 15 points (6-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist across 34 minutes during Monday's 108-106 loss to the Nuggets in Game 5 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

      Advice: Hachimura scored in double figures for the first time during the opening-round series, but it wasn't enough as the Lakers were bounced from the playoffs by the Nuggets for a second consecutive season. From Feb. 9 through April 16, Hachimura averaged 16.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steals-plus-blocks in 31.4 minutes. He excelled as a starter during the regular season, but Hachimura's poor postseason may impact his role next season. He signed a three-year, $51 million deal with the Lakers last summer.       Reaves closed Monday's 108-106 loss to the Nuggets in Game 5 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with 19 points (6-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-8 FT), three rebounds, four assists, two blocks and three steals over 34 minutes.

      Advice: Reaves scored nine of his 19 points in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough as the Lakers were bounced from the playoffs on another game-winning shot by Jamal Murray. After a slow start to the opening-round series, Reaves averaged 20.7 points, 4.3 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.3 steals in 35.0 minutes over the final three matchups, but Los Angeles won only one of those contests. The third-year wing appeared in all 82 regular-season games and averaged 15.9 points, 5.5 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 32.1 minutes -- all career highs.       Austin Reaves provided a scoring boost on Monday with 19 points (6-of-11 FGs), three rebounds, four assists, three steals, two blocks and one triple against Denver.

      Advice: Reaves came alive in the fourth quarter and had nine points over the final six minutes of the game as the Lakers traded leads with the Nuggets. It didn’t end up being enough to keep their season alive, but Reaves was still able to turn in a solid stat line. This was year one of a four year deal that has been a bargain for the Lakers. That flexibility should allow the Lakers to reload this summer, with Reaves being one of the only players outside of LeBron James and Anthony Davis that should be a safe bet to be wearing purple and gold again next season.       Jamal Murray led the Nuggets with 32 points (13-of-28 FGs), three rebounds, seven assists, one steal and five triples in a 108-106 win over the Lakers in Game 5 on Monday.

      Advice: For the second time this series, Murray came up big at the end to help Denver secure a win. He buried a pull-up jumper with about three seconds left, and the Lakers weren’t able to get a good shot up on the ensuing possession. Murray is no stranger to late-game heroics, as he also hit a game-winner in Game 2. The Nuggets will take on Minnesota in the second round after they swept Phoenix, which will be a rematch of last season’s first round series. The Timberwolves are one of the best defensive teams in the league, so Murray will likely have to make more big plays next series in their quest to repeat. Rotoworld Monday, 9:31 pm
