Shams: Jamal Murray won’t be suspended for Game 3
Jamal Murray will be fined for throwing a towel and heat pad on the court during Game 2 against Minnesota on Monday, but he will not be suspended, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Advice: Murray had two separate instances of throwing items from the bench on the court during the Game 2 loss, but it won’t result in him missing any time during this series. A substantial fine should be enough for him to not throw anything else on the court, but if it happens again, a suspension wouldn’t be surprising. They’ll head to Minnesota down 2-0, but they’ll at least have their star point guard as they try to climb out of the hole.
