      Jamal Murray will be fined for throwing a towel and heat pad on the court during Game 2 against Minnesota on Monday, but he will not be suspended, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

      Advice: Murray had two separate instances of throwing items from the bench on the court during the Game 2 loss, but it won’t result in him missing any time during this series. Gobert was the anchor Minnesota defense, which boasted a league-best 108.4 defensive rating.       Advice: Murray has struggled badly in the postseason when it comes to his efficiency despite the fact he had some good moments in the series against the Lakers.       Advice: Brunson once again did it all for New York in a winning effort, leading all players in Monday's Game 1 in scoring while finishing with a perfect mark from the free-throw line to go along with a half-dozen rebounds and assists in an all-around performance. Brunson has taken his game to the next level of late, posting four straight games with 40 or more points. New York's success rides on the performance of Brunson, and he will continue to be a focal point for the team for as long as the Knicks can push their playoff run.
