      Advice: Portis once again dominated the glass for Milwaukee in a season-ending loss Thursday, leading all players in the contest in rebounds while ending as one of three Bucks with 20 or more points in a double-double outing. Portis stepped up nicely in the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) in the first-round series, posting a double-double in five of the six contests while surpassing the 20-point mark in the final two games against Indiana.       Bobby Portis finished Thursday’s Game 6 loss to the Pacers with 20 points (8-of-17 FGs, 3-of-7 FTs), 15 rebounds, two assists, and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.

      Advice: After losing his composure and getting ejected from Game 4, Portis posted solid stat lines in the series’ final two games. But it wasn’t enough to keep the Bucks alive, as Giannis Antetokounmpo’s absence and the team’s lack of depth was too much to overcome. Due to his consistent value as a reserve, fantasy managers did not hesitate to use a late-round pick on Portis. Boasting a Yahoo ADP of 113.2, he finished the regular season ranked just outside the top 100 in 9-cat per-game value. The 2024-25 season is the last guaranteed season on Portis’ contract, as he has a player option for 2025-26. He should again be a reliable late-round option in standard leagues this fall.       Al Horford played 23 minutes in Wednesday’s Game 5 win over the Heat, finishing with eight points (3-of-4 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one 3-pointers.

      Advice: The Celtics were without Kristaps Porzingis, who suffered a strained right soleus muscle during Game 4. As was the case throughout the regular season, Horford moved into the starting lineup. The veteran big man didn’t have to do much, as Boston got off to a hot start and never looked back in their decisive win over the Heat. Ending this series in five games gets the Celtics additional rest, especially if the Cleveland/Orlando series goes the distance. He led all scorers with 29 points, having his way on the interior against a Pacers team that looked out-enthused. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) still on the sideline, Portis has been the primary beneficiary. Milwaukee will need him to replicate this performance Thursday should they hope to force a Game 7. He was able to make up for it with his best performance of the series to help them secure the win and extend the series. He has been fantastic as a starter in place of Giannis Antetokounmpo and has a double-double in every game that he has finished this series.       Advice: Horford was forced into an increased role Monday, thanks to a calf injury to Kristaps Porzingis. While initial reports indicate that Porzingis has avoided anything serious, there is certainly a chance he will miss at least the next game.       Advice: Kristaps Porzingis exited just before halftime of this game with what was initially labeled a right calf strain. However, more recent reports indicate that it may be an Achilles injury, and he will undergo imaging on Tuesday. Horford didn’t contribute much in the box score, but even at his age, he is still more than capable of contributing at a high level until Porzingis is available to play again. If it is a serious injury for KP, Horford may be the starting center for the rest of their playoff run, with Luke Kornet likely filling out the backup minutes down low.       Bobby Portis has been ejected from Sunday’s matchup with the Pacers midway through the first quarter after a physical altercation with Andrew Nembhard.

      Advice: Portis and Nembhard got into it with just over five minutes to play in the first quarter. Both players were given technical fouls, but Portis was ejected after throwing hands. He finished with four points and three rebounds across seven minutes. Already down Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, the Bucks will have to turn to Andre Jackson Jr., Pat Connaughton and Danilo Gallinari to pick up the slack off the bench.
