      Advice: Although Williams headed to the locker room with an apparent ankle injury, he eventually returned to the court and finished as the team's second-highest scorer. Williams has been an invaluable piece of the Thunder's game plan on both sides of the ball, and his DFS salary has steadily risen throughout the playoffs. Josh Giddey's inconsistent play has forced Williams to produce with more frequency, and although Luguentz Dort has shown signs of life in the postseason, his defensive prowess doesn't always translate to favorable fantasy totals.       Advice: Williams injured his ankle during the second half of Saturday’s defeat but was back on the court after a brief spell in the locker room. His return was great news for the Thunder, who have failed to come up with an answer for Dallas’ PJ Washington in the last two games. Washington scoring is one thing, but Oklahoma City’s “supporting cast” has not done enough offensively to support Shai Gilgeous-Alexander properly. Williams’ 16 points were second-most on the team in Game 3, with Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Joe scoring 13. Between Derrick Jones Jr. and PJ Washington, Dallas is far better equipped to defend JDub than New Orleans was, which explains why he shot 40.6% from the field in Games 1 and 2.     • Report: Pels unlikely to offer Ingram an extension
      According to Forbes Sports’ Evan Sidery, the Pelicans are unlikely to offer Brandon Ingram a contract extension this summer.

      Advice: Ingram, who struggled in the Pelicans’ first-round loss to Oklahoma City, is due to make a little over $36 million in the final season of his deal. He can sign an extension worth up to $208 million over four years. However, with Pelicans lead executive David Griffin saying during his post-season availability that changes will be made, Saturday’s report could be a sign that New Orleans is open to parting with Ingram if a proper deal can be made. Trey Murphy is also extension eligible, but his price tag is considerably lower than Ingram’s, whose 64 games played in 2023-24 were the most he’s been available for since being traded to New Orleans in 2019.
