    • Records double-double in Game 4
Porter chipped in 27 points (10-20 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and one steal over 40 minutes during Saturday's 119-108 loss to the Lakers in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: Porter was Denver's second-best player in this game, as he trailed only Nikola Jokic in scoring and rebounding while notching his second consecutive double-double in the series. Despite playing a secondary role on offense behind Jokic and Jamal Murray, Porter has scored at least 20 points while grabbing nine or more rebounds in his last three contests, a run he'll aim to continue in Game 5 on Monday. • Massive triple-double not enough
Jokic closed Saturday's 119-108 loss to the Lakers in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with 33 points (10-20 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 11-11 FT), 14 rebounds, 14 assists, one block and one steal over 41 minutes.

Advice: Jokic has two triple-doubles and two double-doubles in the current series against the Lakers, but unlike in the previous three contests, he was unable to carry Denver to victory following yet another slow start. Jokic's individual numbers have been amazing in the series, though, as he's averaging 29.0 points, 15.3 rebounds and 10.0 assists per game. He'll aim to lift the Nuggets to close the series out Monday in Game 5. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:21 pm

    • Michael Porter Jr. tallies 27 points, 11 rebounds
Michael Porter Jr. finished Saturday’s Game 4 loss to the Lakers with 27 points (10-of-20 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), 11 rebounds, one assist, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

Advice: Porter has been one of Denver’s most consistent players in this series, accounting for at least 19 points and eight rebounds in all four games. Saturday’s double-double was his second in as many games, but the 3-point shooting did slip while in Los Angeles. After shooting 9-of-17 in the series’ first two games, Porter was 6-of-17 from beyond the arc in Games 3 and 4. Don’t be surprised if he benefits from the return home for Game 5 on Monday night. Denver still holds a commanding 3-1 lead, and teams that opened a series 3-0 are 151-0 in NBA postseason history. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:34 pm

    • Nikola Jokic drops 33/14/14/1/1 line in Game 4
Nikola Jokic accumulated 33 points (10-of-20 FGs, 11-of-11 FTs), 14 rebounds, 14 assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 41 minutes in Saturday’s 119-108 loss to the Lakers.

Advice: Denver failed to capitalize on its first opportunity to close out the Lakers, but Jokic still had an impressive night at the office. The Joker recorded his second triple-double of this series and 18th in his postseason career, dropping a full stat line in Game 4. Saturday’s game was Jokic’s least accurate of the series, and he still made 50% of his attempts. Stats are unlikely to be a problem for him in Game 5 on Monday, as the Nuggets take their second shot at closing the series. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:30 pm

    • Sniffs triple-double in Game 3
Jokic accumulated 24 points (9-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 15 rebounds, nine assists and one steal over 39 minutes during Thursday's 112-105 victory over the Lakers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: It seemed effortless at times, but Jokic once again finished just shy of posting a triple-double, despite dealing with the imposing threat of Anthony Davis on both ends of the court throughout the entire contest. Jokic has posted seven straight double-doubles dating back to the regular season, and he's averaging 27.7 points, 15.7 rebounds, 8.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game so far in the series against the Lakers. • Nikola Jokic posts 24/15/9/1 stat line in Game 3
Nikola Jokic amassed 24 points (9-of-13 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), 15 rebounds, nine assists, and one steal in 39 minutes in Thursday’s 112-105 win over the Lakers.

Advice: All three of Denver’s frontcourt starters accounted for at least 20 points and 10 rebounds, with Jokic finishing one assist shy of a triple-double. The Nuggets have now won the last 11 games they’ve played against the Lakers, and it feels like a matter of “when” they’ll end this series rather than “if.” Game 4 is on Saturday night, and Jokic could once again approach 40 minutes as the Nuggets go for the sweep. • Josh Hart hits four 3-pointers, scores 20 points
Josh Hart shot 8-of-16 from the field in Thursday’s Game 3 loss to the 76ers, accounting for 20 points, six rebounds, six assists, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 43 minutes.

Advice: Hart continues to flourish offensively, as Philadelphia does not appear convinced in his ability to shoot the basketball. The former Villanova standout shot 4-of-8 from beyond the arc in Game 3, moving to 12-of-23 for the series. Given the sample size, Philadelphia may look to adjust its approach to defending Hart, which means the Knicks will need more from Donte DiVincenzo. While responsible for a thunderous second-quarter dunk, the “Big Ragu” missed all three of his 3-point attempts and finished with five points, four rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 27 minutes. New York will take a 2-1 series lead into Sunday’s Game 4. Rotoworld Thursday, 7:54 pm

    • Goes for 22 points in Game 2
Porter totaled 22 points (8-13 FG, 6-10 3Pt), nine rebounds, one assist and two steals in 38 minutes during Monday's 101-99 victory over the Lakers in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Porter sniffed a double-double for the second consecutive game after delivering a 19-point, eight-rebound effort in Game 1 on Saturday, and the forward continues to impact both ends of the court for Denver. Even though he doesn't get the same attention as Nikola Jokic or Jamal Murray, Porter is a key piece in the Nuggets' offensive scheme, and he's averaging 16.2 points with 7.3 rebounds per game in April, including regular-season contests. • Posts triple-double in Game 2 win
Jokic closed Monday's 101-99 win over the Lakers in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals with 27 points (9-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 20 rebounds, 10 assists and two steals across 41 minutes.

Advice: Jamal Murray might have grabbed most of the headlines after draining a buzzer-beating, game-winning shot to lift Denver to victory, but Jokic's contributions can't be overlooked, as the MVP favorite posted a triple-double while dealing with the menace of Anthony Davis on both ends of the court. Jokic extended an impressive run that has seen him record a double-double or a triple-double in each of his last 16 games, a span in which he's averaging 28.3 points, 13.4 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game.
