    • Devin Booker’s 49 not enough to keep season alive
Devin Booker amassed a game-high 49 points in Sunday’s loss to the Timberwolves, adding five rebounds, six assists, two steals, a blocked shot and three triples across 45 minutes.

Advice: Booker was an efficient 13-of-21 from the floor and converted a ridiculous 20 of his 21 free throw attempts. Booker became just the 13th player in NBA history to hit at least 20 free throws in a playoff game, and Sunday’s performance was the first of its kind since Dirk Nowitzki hit 24 from the charity stripe back in 2011. Booker added an eighth 40-point playoff game to his resume, extending his own franchise record, but the scoring binge wasn’t enough to stave off elimination as most of the team struggled. Booker and Kevin Durant combined for 82 of Phoenix’s 116 points, and no other player had more than nine. He and the Suns will have some intense soul searching to do over the summer after such a quick playoff exit. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:48 pm

    • Damian Lillard (Achilles) out for Game 4 Sunday
Damian Lillard (right Achilles tendinitis) is out for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.

Advice: Milwaukee’s task of evening their first-round series at two games apiece gets significantly more difficult as Lillard joins Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) on the sidelines. Malik Beasley, Pat Connaughton, and AJ Green are all in the running for increased minutes in Game 4, with Doc Rivers’ choice to start being the best option for DFS tournaments. • Ruled out for Game 4
Lillard (Achilles) has been ruled out for Sunday's Game 4 against the Pacers.

Advice: As expected, Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) have been downgraded from doubtful to out. Khris Middleton (ankle) remains probable. Per Shams Charania of The Athletic, Lillard had been playing through soreness in his Achilles over the last few weeks and aggravated the issue during the Bucks' Game 3 loss on Friday. Malik Beasley, Andre Jackson and AJ Green are all candidates for increased roles in Lillard's absence. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:40 am
    • Drops dud Saturday
LeVert finished with five points (2-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound, three assists and one steal across 26 minutes during Saturday's 112-89 loss to the Magic in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: LeVert's three-point shot failed him in Game 4, and he's now shooting just 23.5 percent from deep during the postseason. He should continue to operate as Cleveland's top bench option, but LeVert has scored in double figures just once through four postseason games after averaging 17.9 points on 54.3 percent shooting across his final seven regular-season appearances. • Strong performance Saturday
Giddey notched 21 points (8-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and one steal in 31 minutes during Saturday's 106-85 victory over New Orleans in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: Giddey put together his best performance of the postseason, helping guide the Thunder to a comfortable victory. He was one of three Oklahoma City players to score at least 20 points, a feat achieved by no one for the Pelicans. Now leading the series 3-0, the Thunder will look to end things in Game 4 on Monday. • Doubtful for Game 4
Lillard (Achilles) is doubtful for Sunday's Game 4 versus the Pacers.

Advice: A report from Shams Charania of The Athletic on Friday hinted at this, and now the Bucks have officially listed Lillard as doubtful on their injury report. Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) is also doubtful, so the Bucks will need guys like Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis and Brook Lopez to step up offensively. Rotowire.com Saturday, 3:31 pm
    • Josh Giddey produces 21/8/6/1 line with 4 triples
Josh Giddey stuffed the stat sheet on Saturday and finished with 21 points (8-of-13 FGs), eight rebounds, six assists, one steal and four 3-pointers against the Pelicans in Game 3.

Advice: Giddey played better in Game 2 than he did in Game 1, and he was even better in this one. He produced a solid stat line, and he was a threat from beyond the arc, which has been a weakness for the team. If Giddey can consistently knock down open shots, they’ll be a difficult team to slow down during this postseason. It is unlikely that he will continue to be this productive as a scorer, but he was an important piece in their big win on Saturday. If he can have another game like this, they won’t have any issues closing this series out in Game 4 on Monday. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:19 pm

    • Haynes: Lillard diagnosed with strained Achilles
According to TNT’s Chris Haynes, Damian Lillard has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 right Achilles strain and is doubtful for Sunday’s Game 4 against the Pacers.

Advice: Lillard, who has been dealing with Achilles soreness for a few weeks, aggravated the issue during Friday’s Game 3 defeat. Unfortunately, he continued to struggle with the injury, ultimately being used as a decoy during the overtime period. In addition to being doubtful for Game 4, Lillard was seen wearing a walking boot on his left foot. Malik Beasley, Pat Connaughton, and AJ Green would be in play for additional minutes if he cannot play. Rotoworld Saturday, 9:56 am
    • Game 4 in doubt
Lillard suffered a strained Achilles in Friday's loss to the Pacers, and there is serious doubt over his availability for Game 4 on Sunday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Lillard was able to return to Game 3 after suffering the injury and finished the contest with 28 points (6-20 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 12-12 FT), eight assists, three steals and one rebound over 45 minutes. Final confirmation on his status Sunday will presumably come closer to game time. AJ Green, Andre Jackson and Malik Beasley would all be candidates to see increased minutes alongside Patrick Beverley in the backcourt should Lillard indeed need to sit out.
