    • Leads LA with 30 points
James produced 30 points (11-21 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-7 FT), nine rebounds, 11 assists and four steals in 44 minutes during Monday's 108-106 loss to the Nuggets in Game 5 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: James did everything in his power to extend the opening-round matchup, including playing all but four minutes of Game 5, but it wasn't enough to get the job done. The 39-year-old forward poured in 30 points in each of the last two games and consistently packed the stat sheet throughout the series, averaging 27.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 8.8 assists, 2.4 steals and 1.0 blocks over five appearances. • LeBron James pours in 30/9/11/4 in Game 5 loss
LeBron James led the Lakers with 30 points (11-of-21 FGs), nine rebounds, 11 assists, four steals and three triples in a 108-106 loss to the Nuggets in Game 5 on Monday.

Advice: While it certainly won’t mean much, LeBron played well in this series and closed it out with another excellent performance. He averaged 27.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 8.8 assists, 2.4 steals, 1.0 block and 2.0 triples while shooting 56.6% from the floor through the five-game series, which was much closer than the gentlemen’s sweep makes it look. The Lakers were outscored by a total of 11 points in five games and were at the mercy of two game-winning shots by Jamal Murray. Year 21 is over for LeBron, and there will be plenty of rumors about his future that start flying as early as Tuesday morning. Rotoworld Monday, 9:53 pm
    • Available for Game 5
James (ankle) has been cleared to play in Monday's Game 5 against Denver, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports.

Advice: James and Anthony Davis (wrist) were each listed as probable to suit up, and they've both been given the green light for Monday's clash. James is coming off a 30-point performance in Game 4 and will need to produce at a high level again in Game 5 to give his team a chance to extend the series. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:25 pm
    • LeBron James, Anthony Davis available for Game 5
LeBron James (left ankle peroneal tendinopathy) and Anthony Davis (left wrist sprain) will play in Game 5 against Denver on Monday.

Advice: Both of LA’s superstars will play in Game 5 as they look to stay alive for at least one more game. They secure a home win in Game 4 and will now have to get a victory in Denver in order to extend their season by another game. Rotoworld Monday, 6:20 pm
    • Karl-Anthony Towns turns in 28/10/3 in Game 4 win
Karl-Anthony Towns turned in 28 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and four triples across 39 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Suns.

Advice: Towns had his best game of the series, and the timing was perfect for Minnesota. Anthony Edwards led the way with 40 points, but KAT was the Wolves’ next highest scorer, and he chipped in his second straight double-double. Towns averaged just 25 minutes in Games 1-3, but he saw increased playing time, while Rudy Gobert played only 25 minutes. Minnesota will face the winner of the Nuggets-Lakers series in the Western Conference semifinals. Rotoworld Sunday, 10:04 pm
    • Probable for Game 5
James (ankle) is probable for Monday's Game 5 against the Nuggets, Khobi Price of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: James continues to deal with left ankle peroneal tendinopathy ahead of Game 5, but he'll likely be able to suit up once again. Over the first four matchups in the series, he's averaged 27.3 points, 8.3 assists, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 steals in 40.0 minutes per game. Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:45 pm
    • Shines with 30-point game Saturday
James ended with 30 points (14-23 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, four assists, one block and three steals over 39 minutes during Saturday's 119-108 victory over the Nuggets in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: The Lakers are still alive in the series against the Nuggets, and James became just the fourth player in NBA history to record a 30-point playoff game at the age of 39 or older, joining Reggie Miller, Karl Malone and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on that exclusive list. James has surpassed the 25-point mark in each of the four games in this series, and the Lakers will need him to be at his best once again if they want to avoid elimination in Game 5 on Monday. • LeBron James tallies 30 points, full stat line
LeBron James played 39 minutes in Saturday’s 119-108 win over the Nuggets, accounting for 30 points (14-of-23 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, four assists, three steals, and one blocked shot.

Advice: James committed six turnovers, but the overall body of work was good enough to help the Lakers extend their season. He scored 14 of his team-high 30 points in the fourth quarter, as the Lakers broke even in the period (28-all). Add in only being a minus-2 in third-quarter points, a significant issue in the first three games of the series, and Darvin Ham’s team lives to fight another day. Even if LeBron shows up on the injury report ahead of Monday’s Game 5, look for him to approach (if not exceed) 40 minutes again. Rotoworld Saturday, 8:08 pm
    • Cleared to play
James (ankle) is good to go for Saturday's Game 4 versus the Nuggets.

Advice: No surprise here, as James was carrying his usual probable tag prior to this update. There's no word of any restrictions ahead of tipoff. Rotowire.com Saturday, 4:38 pm
