    Advice: White embraced a bigger role on offense on a night when Jayson Tatum struggled (7-19 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), and the former responded by delivering his third consecutive game with 25 or more points. White has taken a step forward due to Kristaps Porzingis (calf) being sidelined, and it'd be fair to consider him Boston's third-best offensive weapon under the current lineup construction. White will aim to keep the streak alive in Game 2 on Thursday, as the Celtics have gone 20-3 this season when he's scored 20 or more points between the regular season and the playoffs. He didn't have his best performances in the first-round series against the Magic either, and he's averaging just 14.8 points and 5.4 assists per game through eight playoff appearances. In fact, Garland has failed to surpass the 15-point mark in six of his eight playoff outings, a clear downgrade after averaging 18.0 points per contest during the regular season. However, the rest of his teammates didn't step up, and the Cavaliers suffered a devastating 25-point loss in the series opener. Mitchell should continue to post excellent numbers as the Cavaliers' go-to player on offense -- by a wide margin -- but there's a chance his mighty performances might not translate into wins as it happened against the Magic in the previous round. While this was a close contest for the first three quarters, Oklahoma City took over late, led by the MVP candidate. He will look to build on this performance when the two teams clash again Thursday.     Kyrie Irving led Dallas with 20 points (7-of-14 FGs), one rebound, three assists, two steals, one block and three triples in a 117-95 loss to the Thunder in Game 1 on Tuesday.

    Advice: After scoring just six points in the first half, Irving once again turned it on for the second half and scored nine points in the third, which included a contested 3-pointer just before the buzzer. He was consistently better in the second half during their first round series against the Clippers, but his production in the second half of this game wasn’t enough to secure a win on the road.     Advice: Lu Dort had Doncic in the Dorture Chamber in this game, which is a matchup that Mark Daigneault will continue to deploy. However, that doesn’t mean that it will continue to work like it did in this game. Luka deals with the full attention of the opposing team’s best defender every night, so this is nothing new.     Advice: SGA played well in their first round sweep of the Pelicans, but SGA had arguably his best performance of this postseason in Game 1. His field goal percentage was once again significantly worse than it was during the regular season, but he came close to recording a triple-double. He took over this game with Jalen Williams struggling for the first three quarters, and the Thunder used a dominant fourth quarter to seal the win in the first game of the series.
