    • Undergoes left hand surgery
Brunson underwent successful surgery for his left hand fracture Wednesday and will be re-evaluated in 6-to-8 weeks.

Advice: Brunson picked up the fracture in Sunday's Game 7 loss against the Pacers, but with this timeframe, his status for training camp isn't likely to be in jeopardy. Brunson took his game to another level during the 2023-24 campaign, posting regular-season averages of 28.7 points, 6.7 assists, 3.6 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 2.7 three-pointers. • Scores team-high 23 points
McDaniels racked up 23 points (7-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals across 40 minutes during Sunday's 98-90 victory over the Nuggets in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: McDaniels scored 20-plus points for the second straight game, helping the Timberwolves to an impressive victory in Game 7. Although his offensive output can be inconsistent, he has been a little more reliable during the postseason. Coming up against the Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals, McDaniels is going to have to maintain his offensive mindset to contend with the likes of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. • Anthony Edwards limited to 16 points in Game 7 win
Anthony Edwards shot 6-of-24 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Sunday’s 98-90 win over Denver, finishing with 16 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and two 3-pointers in 44 minutes.

Advice: On Sunday, Edwards got off to a brutal start, shooting 1-of-7 from the field in the first half. He was better in the third quarter, but give Ant-Man credit for not letting his offensive struggles impact his defense. He defended Jamal Murray well in the second half, and multiple members of Minnesota’s “supporting cast” stepped up offensively. Backcourt partner Mike Conley added 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, and three 3-pointers in 39 minutes. Next up for Minnesota is Dallas in the Western Conference Finals; Game 1 is on Wednesday. Rotoworld May 19, 7:57 pm
    • Jaden McDaniels scores 23 points in Game 7 victory
Jaden McDaniels played 39 minutes in Sunday’s 98-90 win over the Nuggets, amassing 23 points (7-of-10 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), six rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block, and three 3-pointers.

Advice: Minnesota won the final two games of this series after getting blown out in Game 5, and McDaniels’ improved play had much to do with the turnaround. He scored 46 points in Games 6 and 7, shooting 15-of-20 from the field. Already a highly impactful defender, McDaniels’ progression as a scorer has paid dividends for the Timberwolves. He must continue that production in the Western Conference Finals, as McDaniels will likely be assigned Luka Doncic. Game 1 of that series is on Wednesday night. Rotoworld May 19, 7:50 pm
    • Isaiah Hartenstein goes scoreless in Game 7 loss
Isaiah Hartenstein missed both of his shot attempts in Sunday’s 130-109 loss to the Pacers, going scoreless with eight rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one blocked shot in 30 minutes.

Advice: The Knicks didn’t count on Hartenstein for consistent scoring, but his production dropped considerably as their second-round series progressed. The 7-footer went scoreless in Game 7 and did not attempt more than three shots in any of the final four games. Give Myles Turner and the Pacers credit for taking away Hartenstein’s beloved floater, and they did a better job of keeping him off the glass after iHart grabbed 17 rebounds in Game 5. Hartenstein earned himself a nice payday once he hits free agency this summer. The question is whether or not the Knicks will offer a contract that is large enough to keep him in the fold. With Mitchell Robinson’s injury history, it may take a lot for the Knicks not to get iHart re-signed. Rotoworld May 19, 4:26 pm
    • Josh Hart plays 37 MIN despite abdominal strain
Josh Hart shot 3-of-9 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line in Sunday’s 130-109 loss to the Pacers, tallying 10 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 37 minutes.

Advice: Despite suffering a strained abdominal muscle during Game 6, Hart was on the court for Game 7. Give him credit for gutting out 37 minutes before fouling out, but he wasn’t himself physically. Hart still contributed 10 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, but it wasn’t enough to help the Knicks erase an early deficit. Hart was expected to provide late-round fantasy value this season, and that’s precisely what he did. However, he was a 6th-round player in 9-cat formats after the trade deadline. Hart’s fantasy ceiling in 2024-25 will depend on what the Knicks do with the rest of the roster, as OG Anunoby can become a free agent, and Julius Randle (shoulder) will be healthy. • All-around showing in Game 7
Hart finished with 10 points (3-9 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and two steals over 37 minutes in Sunday's 130-109 loss to Indiana in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Hart once again gave all he had for New York in a winner-take-all battle, putting forth an all-around showing that included reaching double figures in scoring, ending two rebounds shy of the double-digit mark and adding a handful of assists as well as a team-high-tying pair of steals. Despite dealing with some injuries throughout the series against Indiana, Hart recorded at least 10 points and eight rebounds in five of the seven games in the series. Rotowire.com May 19, 3:08 pm
    • Diagnosed with left hand fracture
Brunson has been diagnosed with a left hand fracture and won't return to Sunday's Game 7 against the Pacers.

Advice: Brunson finishes Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals with 17 points (6-17 FG) and nine assists in 29 minutes. The Pacers hold a commanding double-digit lead, but even if the Knicks pull off a comeback and extend their season, Brunson would presumably miss extended time due to the injury. Alec Burks and Miles McBride are candidates for increased minutes in Brunson's absence. Rotowire.com May 19, 2:42 pm
    • Jalen Brunson (left hand) will not return Sunday
Jalen Brunson (fractured left hand) will not return to Sunday’s game against the Pacers.

Advice: Already down multiple rotation players due to injury, the Knicks lost Brunson to a fractured hand during the third quarter. He was already nagged by a right foot issue, which appeared to limit his burst off the dribble. Brunson played 29 minutes, finishing with 17 points (6-of-17 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), nine assists, and one 3-pointer. As is the case with OG Anunoby (hamstring), Miles McBride and Alec Burks will play plenty as the Knicks attempt to rally. Rotoworld May 19, 2:42 pm
