Jalen Brunson makes Knicks history in Game 4 win
Jalen Brunson shot 18-of-34 from the field and 9-of-11 from the foul line in Sunday’s 97-92 win over the 76ers, accumulating 47 points, four rebounds, 10 assists, one block, and two 3-pointers in 43 minutes.
Advice: Brunson had a game for the ages on Sunday, leading the Knicks to a win that gave them a 3-1 series lead. Not only did he establish a new playoff career-high with 47 points, but this was also a Knicks franchise record (Bernard King held the record at 46). Another piece of history for Brunson: he became the first player in Knicks playoff history to drop a line of at least 40 points and 10 assists. There was an injury scare at the end of the third quarter, as Brunson appeared to tweak his right knee, but the All-Star guard returned after spending a few minutes in the locker room. The Knicks will look to close out the series in Game 5 on Tuesday.
