    McConnell finished with 18 points (9-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three assists, three steals and one rebound over 22 minutes in Monday's 121-117 loss to New York in Game 1 of the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

    Advice: McConnell provided a much-needed spark off the Pacers bench with the below-average offensive showing by Indiana's starting guards, leading all bench players in scoring while adding a trio of steals and assists in a balanced showing on the second unit. McConnell has been playing some of his best basketball of the postseason in his last two outings, posting at least 18 points and three assists in two straight contests.     Josh Hart accumulated 24 points (9-of-13 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), 13 rebounds, eight assists, two steals, one block, and one 3-pointer in 48 minutes in Monday’s 121-117 win over Indiana.

    Advice: The Knicks used a late rally to draw first blood in the series, with the Villanova trio of Hart, Jalen Brunson, and Donte DiVincenzo combining to score 33 of the team’s 39 fourth-quarter points. Hart was excellent in Game 1, with one exception: turnovers. He was responsible for five, occasionally playing too fast for his own good. However, the overall production from the Knicks’ “iron man,” who played at least 46 minutes in four of the team’s six first-round games against Philadelphia, made up for the high turnover count.     Advice: Leading the series one game to none, the Timberwolves are without Rudy Gobert (personal reasons) for Game 2. Filling the void is Anderson, but the Stifle Tower’s absence also places more responsibility on Towns.     Advice: Anderson will take Rudy Gobert's (personal) spot in the starting lineup. Anderson didn't factor in much during Game 1, finishing with two points, two rebounds and one assist in 12 minutes of action.
