  • Nears triple-double in Game 1 win
    Hart tallied 24 points (9-13 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-8 FT), 13 rebounds, eight assists, three steals and one block over 48 minutes in Monday's 121-117 win over Indiana in Game 1 of the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

    Advice: Hart did a little bit of everything for New York to boost the team to a Game 1 victory, leading all players in Monday's contest in rebounds and assists to go along with a team-high trio of steals and coming up two dimes shy of a triple-double. Hart has seen a heavy amount of playing time so far this postseason, resulting in tallying a double-double in four of his seven playoff contests.     Josh Hart accumulated 24 points (9-of-13 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), 13 rebounds, eight assists, two steals, one block, and one 3-pointer in 48 minutes in Monday’s 121-117 win over Indiana.

    Advice: The Knicks used a late rally to draw first blood in the series, with the Villanova trio of Hart, Jalen Brunson, and Donte DiVincenzo combining to score 33 of the team’s 39 fourth-quarter points. Hart was excellent in Game 1, with one exception: turnovers. He was responsible for five, occasionally playing too fast for his own good. However, the overall production from the Knicks’ “iron man,” who played at least 46 minutes in four of the team’s six first-round games against Philadelphia, made up for the high turnover count.     Tim Hardaway Jr. is available for Tuesday’s Game 1 against the Thunder.

    Advice: THJ sat out Games 3-6 of Dallas’ first-round series against the Clippers, but he’ll be good to go for Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals. He averaged 14.4 points and 2.7 triples in the regular season, so his return will be a welcomed sight to Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving thanks to his scoring and floor spacing.     Suggs closed Sunday's 106-94 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with 10 points (2-13 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 4-5 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and one steal across 40 minutes.

    Advice: Suggs didn't have a good series against the Cavaliers and failed to operate as the third scoring option the Magic desperately needed at times. He reached the 15-point mark in just two of the seven games and averaged 14.7 points on a mere 40.2 percent mark from the floor.   • Gary Harris hits two triples in Game 7 defeat
    Gary Harris (hamstring) accounted for six points (2-of-4 FGs), two rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 27 minutes in Sunday’s Game 7 loss to the Cavaliers.

    Advice: Questionable for Sunday’s game after sitting out Game 6 with a strained hamstring, Harris started and played 27 minutes. While he did make two 3-pointers, the overall impact was muted. Unfortunately for Harris, injuries have been a significant storyline since the nine-year pro arrived in Orlando via the Aaron Gordon trade. He played 54 games this season, finishing ranked well outside the top 200 in 8- and 9-cat formats. Harris will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, and regardless of where he could land, fantasy managers don’t need to consider selecting him in most drafts. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:49 pm
     
  • Jalen Suggs shoots poorly, scores 10 points Sunday
    Jalen Suggs finished Sunday’s Game 7 loss to Cleveland with 10 points (2-of-13 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), nine rebounds, four assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

    Advice: Despite opening the game making six of its first 11 3-pointers, the Magic received a harsh reminder of their most significant weakness in Game 7. Orlando would finish 10-of-31 from beyond the arc, with Suggs making two of his 10 attempts. The third-year guard reached double figures in six of the series’ seven games, but he shot below 40% from the field and 29% from three. While injury-related questions and limited production when healthy during his first two seasons negatively impacted Suggs’ ADP (141.9), he provided top 100 value in 8- and 9-cat formats. Whether or not this season gives his value a boost ahead of drafts in the fall depends on what changes Orlando makes to its perimeter rotation via the draft and free agency. Also, Suggs will be eligible for an extension this offseason. However, unlike Franz Wagner, the decision does not appear as clear-cut for the Magic front office, even with his improved 2023-24 campaign. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:43 pm
