    Advice: Giddey played just 10 minutes in the loss, ending what has been a disappointing season for the young Australian. Having started the majority of the season, he was moved to the bench in recent games.   • Josh Giddey plays 11 minutes in series finale
    Josh Giddey shot 1-of-3 from the field in Saturday’s 117-116 loss to Dallas, accounting for two points, four rebounds, and one assist in 11 minutes.

    Advice: After playing well in the final three games of Oklahoma City’s four-game sweep of New Orleans, Giddey offered little value against the Mavericks. He played 17 minutes in the series opener and no more than 13 in any of the five games that followed. For Games 5 and 6, Thunder coach Mark Daigneault replaced Giddey in the starting lineup with Isaiah Joe due to the need for a floor spacer. The former lottery pick is eligible for a rookie-level extension this summer, but it’s fair to wonder if he’s the “odd man out” in Oklahoma City. Giddey, who had a Yahoo ADP of 58.9, finished the regular season ranked well outside the top 100. If he remains with the Thunder, he shouldn’t be selected with a top 100 pick.   • Donte DiVincenzo tallies 17 points, full stat line
    Donte DiVincenzo played 39 minutes in Friday’s 116-103 loss to the Pacers, tallying 17 points (6-of-14 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block, and three 3-pointers.

    Advice: DiVincenzo has cooled off considerably since scoring 25 points or more in the series’ first three games. While he hit double figures in Game 6, the Big Ragu has gone 13-of-41 from the field in Games 4 through 6. With Jalen Brunson receiving constant defensive attention from the Pacers, the Knicks need more from DiVincenzo in Game 7 on Sunday afternoon. The same can be said for reserve Alec Burks, who shot 2-of-8 from the field on Friday, especially if Josh Hart (abdomen) is limited or cannot play.     Advice: Giddey has seen his playing time drop off drastically during the series, seeing fewer than 15 minutes in three straight contests. He's been a non-factor against Dallas, averaging 6.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 13.3 minutes per contest.     Josh Giddey only logged 12 minutes on Monday and finished with five points (2-of-8 FGs), two assists, one steal, one block and one triple against Dallas.

    Advice: Giddey played well over the final three games of their first round sweep of the Pelicans, but he hasn’t been able to replicate that success against Dallas. He has been a liability on both ends of the floor, which has resulted in him playing just 13.3 minutes per game through the first four games. Mark Daigneault hasn’t moved him to a reserve role yet, but he has basically been splitting minutes with Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Joe and Cason Wallace. Joe ended up starting the second half in place of Giddey in this one. Don’t expect Daigneault to make a starting lineup change now, but all four players should continue to see minutes in the low teens, with the hot hand seeing a larger role.     Donte DiVincenzo played 32 minutes in Sunday’s Game 4 loss to the Pacers, tallying seven points (3-of-13 FGs), five rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, and one 3-pointer.

    Advice: After catching fire in the Knicks’ Game 3 loss on Friday, DiVincenzo could not find his groove in Game 4. And that was the case for the team as a whole, as New York was outscored by a 34-14 margin in the first quarter and never got back into the game. DiVincenzo was subbed out late in the third quarter as the last starter to exit Sunday’s loss. The Knicks host Game 5 on Tuesday, with the series tied at two.     DiVincenzo ended Friday's 111-106 loss to the Pacers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals with 35 points (12-26 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 44 minutes.

    Advice: Jalen Brunson wasn't at his best Friday, but DiVincenzo came through and carried the Knicks offensively with a career playoff-high scoring performance, although New York came up short and couldn't go up 3-0 in the series. DiVincenzo has been forced to embrace a bigger role on offense with several key contributors sidelined, and he's delivered so far. He should be in line for another prominent role in Game 4 with Julius Randle (shoulder), OG Anunoby (hamstring) and Bojan Bogdanovic (foot) all out. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:13 am

    Advice: With OG Anunoby (hamstring) sidelined, the Knicks looked to DiVincenzo even more than usual in Game 3. And he answered the call, knocking down seven 3-pointers and scoring 35 points with a full stat line. The Pacers will pay even more attention to DiVincenzo in Sunday’s Game 4, but that isn’t going to make him “gun shy.” Look for the Big Ragu, who has scored at least 25 points in all three games of this series, to put up a lot of shots as the Knicks attempt to steal one on the road.     Advice: Giddey's minutes continue to decrease with each passing game, and it wouldn't be surprising if he moves to a bench role ahead of Game 3 given how much he's struggled on both ends of the court. He delivered good numbers against the Pelicans, but in the two outings against Dallas, he's averaging 5.0 points while shooting 40 percent from the floor across 14 minutes.
