    • Ends season plagued by struggles
Herro ended Wednesday's 118-84 loss to the Celtics in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with 15 points (6-19 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and three assists across 35 minutes.

Advice: Herro was forced to embrace a more prominent role on offense due to the absences of Jimmy Butler (knee) and Terry Rozier (neck) in the series against the Celtics. While the numbers were decent across the board, he struggled badly in terms of efficiency and shooting percentages. Over the five games of the series, Herro made just 38.5 percent of his shots from the field and 34.9 percent of his three-pointers. He averaged 16.8 points per game, but that was not enough to lift Miami to victory against the team with the best record in the NBA. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:51 am
    • Tyler Herro scores inefficient 15 points in rout
Tyler Herro shot 6-of-19 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Wednesday’s Game 5 loss to the Celtics, recording a line of 15 points, three rebounds, three assists, and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.

Advice: Miami was without Jimmy Butler, Terry Rozier, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. for Game 5, putting even more pressure on Herro to perform with the team’s season on the line. He struggled, as many guards do when dealing with Jrue Holiday. While he established new career-highs in points (20.8 per game), assists (4.5), and 3-pointers (3.1), injuries limited Herro’s fantasy value. Beginning the season with a Yahoo ADP of 68.9, he finished the regular season ranked just inside the top 90 in 9-cat, per-game value, according to Basketball Monster. If Herro can play 65-plus games, as he did during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, he’s capable of approaching top-60 fantasy value. He’ll be worth selecting in the 6th round of standard league drafts, depending on potential changes to the Heat roster. Rotoworld Wednesday, 6:57 pm
    • Terry Rozier (neck) ruled out for Game 5 Wednesday
Terry Rozier (neck spasms) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Celtics.

Advice: Facing elimination, the Heat will be without three key rotation pieces in Boston. Rozier and Jimmy Butler (knee) remain sidelined, with Jaime Jaquez Jr. (hip) joining them on the sideline after injuring his hip during Monday’s Game 4 defeat. Caleb Martin will remain in the starting lineup, while Tyler Herro will continue to shoulder a heavy workload. Also, Jaquez joining the list of injured players may result in more rotation minutes for Patty Mills. Rotoworld Tuesday, 12:31 pm
    • Remains out for Game 5
Rozier (neck) has been ruled out for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Celtics, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Advice: Rozier will miss an 11th straight game due to a neck strain. Jimmy Butler (knee) and Jaime Jaquez (hip) are also out for the potential elimination game, so Delon Wright, Patty Mills, Kevin Love and Duncan Robinson are all candidates for increased roles. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 12:03 pm
    • Drops 49 points in defeat
Booker accumulated 49 points (13-21 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 20-21 FT), five rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals in 45 minutes during Sunday's 122-116 loss to Minnesota in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: Minnesota swept the Suns on Sunday, but Booker did everything he could to keep Phoenix in contention during a back-and-forth matchup, logging his fourth-highest scoring total of the season while contributing on both ends of the court. Booker remained dominant during his age-27 season, averaging 27.1 points, 6.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds in 36.0 minutes per game. Booker should continue to play a prominent role for Phoenix during the 2024-25 season, his 10th year with the team. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:55 am
    • Devin Booker’s 49 not enough to keep season alive
Devin Booker amassed a game-high 49 points in Sunday’s loss to the Timberwolves, adding five rebounds, six assists, two steals, a blocked shot and three triples across 45 minutes.

Advice: Booker was an efficient 13-of-21 from the floor and converted a ridiculous 20 of his 21 free throw attempts. Booker became just the 13th player in NBA history to hit at least 20 free throws in a playoff game, and Sunday’s performance was the first of its kind since Dirk Nowitzki hit 24 from the charity stripe back in 2011. Booker added an eighth 40-point playoff game to his resume, extending his own franchise record, but the scoring binge wasn’t enough to stave off elimination as most of the team struggled. Booker and Kevin Durant combined for 82 of Phoenix’s 116 points, and no other player had more than nine. He and the Suns will have some intense soul searching to do over the summer after such a quick playoff exit. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:48 pm
    • Terry Rozier (neck) ruled out for Game 4 Monday
Terry Rozier (neck spasms) is out for Monday’s game against the Celtics.

Advice: Rozier remains sidelined for another game, meaning Jaime Jaquez Jr. will continue to start alongside Tyler Herro. The rookie wing is worth slotting into DFS lineups for Monday’s slate. Also, Delon Wright should play more minutes off the bench. Rotoworld Sunday, 10:27 am
    • Remains out, day-to-day
Rozier (neck) has been ruled out for Monday's Game 4 against the Celtics.

Advice: Rozier will miss a 10th straight game due to a neck strain. Coach Erik Spoelstra said Sunday morning that he doesn't know if Rozier will play in the opening-round series. "[Rozier] is day-to-day. When it changes, I'll let you know," Spoelstra added, per Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel. Delon Wright (personal) is probable after being absent for Saturday's Game 3 loss and should help soak up some of Rozier's missing minutes. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:25 am
    • Poor shooting effort in Game 3
Herro finished with 15 points (5-16 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists in 33 minutes during Saturday's 104-84 loss to the Celtics in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Herro had a rough outing Saturday, as he had a tough time when matched up against Jaylen Brown, and he finished the game with more field-goal attempts than points scored. That's not an encouraging performance from a player that needs to steps up offensively, particularly with Jimmy Butler (knee) sidelined. Through three games in the current series against the Celtics, Herro has gone 16-for-42 from the field while failing to surpass the 15-point mark twice. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:15 pm
