    • Leading scorer in Game 1 defeat
Turner tallied 23 points (8-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three assists, two rebounds, one block and one steal over 35 minutes in Monday's 121-117 loss to New York in Game 1 of the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Turner did all he could to help Indiana to a road victory in Game 1 against New York, leading the club in scoring to go along with a team-high-tying pair of threes while ending as the lone Pacer with 20 or more points in the losing effort. Turner bounced back well after a pair of low-scoring outings in the final two games of the first-round series, posting his fourth game of the postseason with at least 20 points. Indiana will hope for a similar performance from Turner offensively in Game 2, and he may need to improve his presence on the glass to help the Pacers own the battle on the boards. • Myles Turner leads Pacers with 23 points in Game 1
Myles Turner shot 8-of-16 from the field and 5-of-6 from the foul line in Monday’s 121-117 loss to the Knicks, tallying 23 points, two rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Advice: One of the critical subplots of the Pacers/Knicks series is how New York will defend Turner when he’s the screener in Indiana’s two-man game. Conventional “drop” coverage is unlikely to succeed consistently because of the Pacers’ big man’s perimeter shooting ability. Turner got his points in Game 1 in multiple ways, going 6-of-10 from two and 2-of-6 from three. Given his performance on Monday, considering the over for Turner’s point total in Wednesday’s Game 2 wouldn’t be a bad idea. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:19 pm
    • Leads from deep in 20-point Game 1
Porter finished with 20 points (6-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals across 40 minutes during Saturday's 106-99 loss to Minnesota in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Porter led all players in Saturday's contest in threes made while ending as one of two Nuggets with 20 or more points and adding a half-dozen rebounds in a losing effort. Porter has surpassed the 20-point mark in five straight playoff contests, connecting on four or more threes in three straight games. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:22 pm
    • Poor shooting in Game 6 loss
Maxey recorded 17 points (6-18 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two steals over 43 minutes during Thursday's 118-115 loss to the Knicks in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Maxey was coming off a heroic performance in Game 5, scoring 46 points and making some clutch buckets to keep the 76ers alive in the series. However, he wasn't able to deliver in Game 6 and finished with more field-goal attempts than points scored. Maxey posted her lowest-scoring tally of the series in Thursday's loss, but he still averaged 29.8 points, 6.8 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game in the first round of the playoffs. • Tyrese Maxey struggles in Game 6, scores 17 points
Tyrese Maxey shot 6-of-18 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line in Thursday’s loss to the Knicks, accumulating 17 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer in 43 minutes.

Advice: After going off for 46 points in Philadelphia’s Game 5 victory, Maxey had a tough night as the 76ers’ season ended on Thursday. He made some big plays down the stretch, but the slow start was one reason the Knicks led by as much as 22 points in the first quarter. A subpar Game 6 should not put too much of a damper on Maxey’s season, as he stepped up to become the emerging star Philadelphia believed it had when they finally traded James Harden. However, the point guard will be a restricted free agent this summer, and as Fat Joe famously said, “yesterday’s price is not today’s price.” Philadelphia should re-sign Maxey, but it will cost them more money than it would have if they’d extended his deal before the season began. • Obi Toppin scores 21 in series-clinching win
Obi Toppin was outstanding in Thursday’s 120-98 win over the Bucks, finishing with 21 points (8-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, one block, and three 3-pointers in 24 minutes.

Advice: The Pacers are off to the second round after eliminating Milwaukee in six games, and Toppin was a massive factor in Game 6. A double-digit scorer in the series’ final four games, the fourth-year forward scored a team-high 21 points in Game 6. Toppin’s production was critical, as Indiana’s starting frontcourt struggled with fouls. Pascal Siakam (19/7/4/1 with one 3-pointer) and Myles Turner (5/5/1/0/1) were whistled for four fouls, while Aaron Nesmith (15/3/1 with three 3-pointers) picked up five. Indiana’s depth was a significant factor in the first round, and that could also be the case in the second, whether they get New York or Philadelphia. Game 1 is on Monday night. • Top scorer off bench in Game 6
Toppin posted 21 points (8-15 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one block over 24 minutes in Thursday's 120-98 win over Milwaukee in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Toppin gave Indiana a much-needed lift off the bench, leading all Pacers in scoring while connecting on a team-high-tying trio of threes and ending two rebounds shy of a double-double in just under 25 minutes on the second unit. Toppin has been stellar off the bench this postseason but posted his best outing of the playoffs thus far in the series-clinching victory. Toppin concluded the first-round series by surpassing the double-digit scoring mark in four straight outings. Rotowire.com Thursday, 6:11 pm
    • Erupts for 46 points
Maxey amassed 46 points (17-30 FG, 7-12 3Pt, 5-8 FT), five rebounds and nine assists in 52 minutes during Tuesday's 112-106 overtime victory over the Knicks in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Joel Embiid clearly wasn't 100 percent, so Maxey stepped up in a big way for the 76ers. He used his quickness to get whatever look he wanted on the court, and he hit a three-pointer near halfcourt to send this game to overtime. This series will head back to Philadelphia for Game 6 on Thursday with the Knicks leading 3-2. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:44 am
    • Obi Toppin chips in 12/6/4 line off bench
Obi Toppin provided a boost off the bench with 12 points (3-of-7 FGs), six rebounds, four assists and two triples against Milwaukee on Tuesday.

Advice: Toppin was once again a solid scoring option off the bench as he scored in double figures for the third straight game. However, his most notable moment from this game was getting into a scuffle with Patrick Beverley that resulted in a technical foul for Toppin. The Bucks had started the second quarter on a 12-2 run, and they were in complete control after the technical. Toppin will look to provide some buckets off the bench once again in Game 6 on Thursday.
