      Advice: Edwards carried the Timberwolves on offense in Game 4, and at times, he did the heavy lifting all by himself. However, his impressive stat line was not enough to avoid a second consecutive loss at home. Edwards has scored 40 or more points in three of his last five playoff appearances, including twice in the current series. He'll aim to keep that run going Tuesday in Game 5.       Advice: Ant-Man was superhuman yet again, though the rest of his team was more like the Wasp and stung him badly in the loss. Edwards shot an efficient 16-of-25 from the floor, while his teammates combined to shoot 23-of-57 for just 63 points. The next highest scorer on the team was Mike Conley, who chipped in 15, while Karl-Anthony Towns struggled to find his shot, and Naz Reid was given just 19 minutes. Edwards has been absolutely dominant in this season’s playoffs, but he’ll need more from his teammates now that the Western Conference semis are tied up and heading back to Denver for a pivotal Game 5.       Advice: Faced with the opportunity to deal the reigning champions a decisive blow, Minnesota failed to do so on Friday. Edwards was the only player to reach double digits in shot attempts, which was not the case in either of Minnesota’s two wins in Denver. While he shot the ball well overall, Ant-Man was responsible for five of the Timberwolves’ 14 turnovers in Game 3. Edwards tallied his lowest point total of the conference semifinals, taking a bit of a step back after a pair of impressive performances in Denver earlier in the series.       Advice: Edwards didn't repeat the 43-point performance from Game 1, but he was highly efficient in this one and played a prominent role in the victory while also ending just three assists away from a double-double. Edwards has been almost unstoppable since the start of the playoffs and is averaging 32.3 points per game while keeping the Timberwolves undefeated through six postseason contests so far.       Advice: The Timberwolves were without Rudy Gobert on Monday, as he was back in Minnesota for the birth of his first child. And it didn’t matter because Denver still had no answer for Edwards. Ant-Man tied for the team lead in scoring, shooting well over 50% from the field. If there was an issue for him, it was the turnovers, with the star guard racking up four, but to cite that would be to split hairs.       Advice: Banchero did everything in his power to keep the Magic alive in the playoffs, but even though his stat line was magnificent, the struggles of Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner were too much for Orlando to overcome, meaning Banchero couldn't carry the team to the next round on his own. Despite the early playoff exit, the series against the Cavaliers fully established Banchero as one of the league's up-and-coming superstars.     • Franz Wagner endures brutal Game 7 performance
      Franz Wagner shot 1-of-13 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line in Sunday’s 106-94 loss to the Cavaliers, scoring six points with six rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one blocked shot in 34 minutes.

      Advice: Playing in the biggest game of his brief NBA career, as were many of his Magic teammates, Wagner struggled mightily on Sunday afternoon. He could not make anything happen offensively, missing all five of his 3-point attempts while shooting 1-of-8 from two. Cleveland’s Isaac Okoro certainly deserves some credit for that, but this performance was a severe departure from the norm for Wagner. Based on the Yahoo ADP (66.6), 2023-24 went as expected for Franz, who finished the regular season as a 6th-round player in 8- and 9-cat formats. Sunday wasn’t a good way for him to go out, but Wagner will be one of Orlando’s solid building blocks moving forward.       Paolo Banchero logged 41 minutes in Sunday’s 106-94 loss to Cleveland, amassing 38 points (10-of-28 FGs, 15-of-18 FTs), 16 rebounds, two assists, three steals, one block, and three 3-pointers.

      Advice: Between the field goal percentage and his five turnovers, Banchero did not have the most efficient Sunday afternoon. However, his overall play was the primary reason why Orlando had a chance to win Game 7. The lack of consistent help from others factored into Banchero’s efficiency issues. Still, he gained a significant amount of respect from mainstream followers of the NBA with his play throughout the series. Orlando lost all four games its standout forward committed at least five turnovers. And that category significantly impacted his fantasy value during the regular season. While a top 100 player in 8-cat formats, Banchero finished the regular season outside the top 150 in 9-cat. How Orlando handles its needs on the perimeter (consistent shooting and playmaking) will impact whether Banchero comes off in the fifth round of most drafts (as he did last fall) or slightly higher.
