• Cracks rotation Friday
Hardy finished with one point (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one assist and one steal in three minutes during Friday's 101-90 win over the Clippers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: Hardy, along with A.J. Lawson and Dwight Powell, secured a handful of minutes down the stretch Friday. With the game well in hand, the Mavericks were able to give their fringe players a rare opportunity to see playoff basketball. This is not something we should expect to see very often moving forward. • Ejected in Game 3 win
Washington chipped in 10 points (5-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals over 34 minutes before getting ejected from Friday's 101-90 win over the Clippers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: Washington was ejected following a scuffle with Russell Westbrook, much to the delight of the home fans. While losing a player is never a good thing, his energy and willingness to not back down proved a hit with the Dallas faithful. Before his premature exit, Washington managed to put together another strong performance. He will look to maintain that energy heading into Game 4 Sunday. Rotowire.com 42 minutes ago
  • Rare appearance Friday
Boston finished with three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 FT) and one rebound in three minutes during Friday's 101-90 loss to the Mavericks in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: Boston played three minutes in garbage time, something the Clippers will be hoping doesn't repeat itself. Although the scoreline was relatively close, the Mavericks took control early in this one, now holding a 2-1 series lead over a Clippers team in need of a spark. Rotowire.com 45 minutes ago
  • Dereck Lively II chips in 13 points off bench
Dereck Lively II provided a boost off the bench with 13 points (6-of-8 FGs), two rebounds and two blocks in 15 minutes against the Clippers in Game 3 on Friday.

Advice: Lively only played nine minutes in Game 2 and ended up missing practice on Thursday because of some soreness in his lower back. However, he was able to play in Game 3, and he was able to make an impact off the bench. He scored all 13 of his points in the first half, which included five dunks. This was a solid game for the rookie, but Dallas will likely continue to lean on Daniel Gafford for most the center minutes. Rotoworld Today, 8:17 pm
  • Ejected in fourth quarter
Westbrook was ejected from Saturday's 101-90 Game 3 loss to the Mavericks with 6:10 to play in the fourth quarter. He finished with one point (0-7 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in 19 minutes.

Advice: Westbrook let his frustrations get the best of him in this one. He was already carrying a technical foul when he proceeded to shove both Luka Doncic and P.J. Washington on the same play. Despite his outburst, a suspension is highly unlikely. Rotowire.com Today, 8:02 pm
  • PJ Washington ejected after contact with Westbrook
PJ Washington has been ejected from Game 3 against the Clippers on Friday.

Advice: Washington picked up his second technical foul of the game after initiating contact with Russell Westbrook. Both of Washington’s technicals were double techs, with the first coming after getting into it with Terance Mann earlier in the fourth quarter. Rotoworld Today, 7:38 pm
  • Russell Westbrook ejected in fourth quarter
Russell Westbrook has been ejected from Game 3 against Dallas on Friday.

Advice: After getting tangled up with Luka Doncic, Westbrook shoved Doncic away from him and threw push at PJ Washington after that. There were plenty of words exchanged as well, which ended Westbrook’s night halfway through the fourth quarter. He had one point on 1-of-7 shooting, so this was certainly a frustrating night for him. • Starting Game 3
O'Neale will start Friday's Game versus the Timberwolves, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.

Advice: Grayson Allen (ankle) will sit out Game 3, but he's considered day-to-day and could be back for Game 4 on Sunday. In 14 starts during the regular season, O'Neale averaged 10.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.9 three-pointers. Rotowire.com Today, 7:09 pm
  • Royce O’Neale to start in place of Grayson Allen
Royce O’Neale will join Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, Kevin Durant and Jusuf Nurkic in the starting unit for Game 3 against Minnesota on Friday.

Advice: Allen will miss Game 3 due to an ankle injury, which opens the door for O’Neale to move into the starting unit. Eric Gordon should also see some extra minutes off the bench. Rotoworld Today, 7:01 pm
