    • Bam Adebayo finishes Game 5 loss with 23 points
      Bam Adebayo played 36 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Celtics, accounting for 23 points (10-of-26 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, six assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer.

      Advice: For the second straight game, Adebayo hit a 3-pointer. As was the case in Game 4, it did not matter, as the Heat were eliminated from the playoffs in blowout fashion. Bam led the team in points and assists but was inefficient as a scorer. Given how shorthanded Miami was, they needed a near-perfect game from the available players to have a shot. That didn’t happen, so attention now turns to the offseason. Adebayo entered the season with a Yahoo ADP of 32.7, and while the availability was there (70 games played), the production dipped slightly. The three-time All-Star averaged one point less per game compared to the 2022-23 campaign, and Bam also experienced decreases in field goal and free throw percentages.       Advice: Although the Bucks managed to keep their season alive Tuesday, they'll likely have to play without Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard (Achilles) once again as the series shifts back to Indiana on Thursday.       Advice: Banchero's 39 points mark a new career high in the postseason, and this was a terrific bounce-back performance after he was held to nine points in Game 4 on Saturday. Banchero has been terrific in his first career playoff series, posting averages of 24.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.2 three-pointers through five games.       Paolo Banchero led the Magic with 39 points (14-of-24 FGs), eight rebounds, four assists, four triples and five turnovers in a 104-103 loss to Cleveland in Game 5 on Tuesday.

      Advice: It may not have resulted in a win, but Banchero was fantastic in this game. He became the third-youngest player to score at least 39 points in a playoff game, with only LeBron James and Magic Johnson in front of him. That isn’t a bad list to be on, and they’ll need him to continue to play at this level if they want to win their next two games. They’ll head back to Orlando for Game 6 on Friday, where Banchero only scored nine points in the blowout win in Game 4. He’ll look to bring some of this scoring down to Florida.       Bam Adebayo led Miami with 25 points (11-of-22 FGs), 17 rebounds, five assists and one triple in a 102-88 loss to Boston in Game 4 on Monday.

      Advice: Bam had an excellent game, but it didn’t end up being enough for the Heat to defend their home court and tie the series up. Adebayo has had an impressive series, averaging 22.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. However, without Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier, they haven’t been able to put up much of a fight, aside from their Game 2 upset win in Boston. Expect another big game from Bam in Game 5, but it probably won’t make much of a difference in this series. The Heat simply haven’t been healthy enough to truly compete against a loaded Celtics team.       Advice: Antetokounmpo has yet to play this postseason due to a left calf strain he suffered against the Celtics on April 9. Coach Doc Rivers said ahead of Sunday's Game 4 loss that Antetokounmpo was cleared to run with no resistance and continues to do stationary shooting, but it seems the All-Star is still a few hurdles away from game action.
