    • Pours in 39 points
Banchero supplied 39 points (14-24 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 7-8 FT), eight rebounds and four assists over 38 minutes during Tuesday's 104-103 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Banchero's 39 points mark a new career high in the postseason, and this was a terrific bounce-back performance after he was held to nine points in Game 4 on Saturday. Banchero has been terrific in his first career playoff series, posting averages of 24.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.2 three-pointers through five games. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:04 am
    • Paolo Banchero pours in 39 points in Game 5 loss
Paolo Banchero led the Magic with 39 points (14-of-24 FGs), eight rebounds, four assists, four triples and five turnovers in a 104-103 loss to Cleveland in Game 5 on Tuesday.

Advice: It may not have resulted in a win, but Banchero was fantastic in this game. He became the third-youngest player to score at least 39 points in a playoff game, with only LeBron James and Magic Johnson in front of him. That isn’t a bad list to be on, and they’ll need him to continue to play at this level if they want to win their next two games. They’ll head back to Orlando for Game 6 on Friday, where Banchero only scored nine points in the blowout win in Game 4. He’ll look to bring some of this scoring down to Florida. • Scores only nine points in win
Banchero racked up nine points (4-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal across 29 minutes during Saturday's 112-89 victory over the Cavaliers in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Banchero struggled to find an offensive rhythm and scored his fewest points since Nov. 29, but the Magic still evened the series at 2-2. The budding superstar averaged 25.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 37.0 minutes over the first three matchups of the opening-round series and scored in single digits only twice during the regular season. • Larry Nance chips in 9/13/5/2 line off bench
Larry Nance provided a boost off the bench with nine points (3-of-6 FGs), 13 rebounds, five assists, two steals and one triple in Game 3 against the Thunder on Saturday.

Advice: Jonas Valanciunas only logged 12 minutes as the starting center in this game as Willie Green opted to roll with Larry Nance in a smaller lineup. Nance ended up having an excellent performance, though it didn’t end up having much of an impact on the scoreboard. JV played 29 minutes in Game 1 and 23 minutes in Game 2, so we’ll see if Green continues to use Nance heavily in Game 4. Nance isn’t much of a fantasy contributor, but he is a really solid depth piece for the Pelicans. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:44 pm
    • Good to go Saturday
Nance (ankle) isn't on the injury report for Saturday's Game 3 against the Thunder.

Advice: Nance was held to just 14 minutes of action in Game 2 due to an apparent right ankle injury. However, Nance should be available and serve as one of New Orleans' primary frontcourt options off the bench in Game 3. Rotowire.com Friday, 2:22 pm
    • Practices Friday
Nance (undisclosed) was a full participant in practice Friday, Jim Eichenhofer of the Pelicans' official site reports.

Advice: Nance left Wednesday's Game 2 loss to the Thunder in the third quarter favoring his right leg and grabbed at his ankle as he walked to the locker room. He didn't play at all in the final frame. On Friday, coach Willie Green said that despite the soreness, Nance "went through a full practice." This is good news for the Pelicans, who are still without Zion Williamson (hamstring). Rotowire.com Friday, 12:47 pm
    • Records double-double in Game 3 win
Banchero closed with 31 points (13-26 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds, five assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Thursday's 121-83 victory over the Cavaliers in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: There's no question that Banchero is the engine that keeps the Magic going on offense, and the star forward made his presence felt on both ends of the court Thursday, leading the Magic in both points and rebounds en route to a blowout win. Banchero has surpassed the 20-point mark in his three appearances in the series, averaging 25.3 points per game while shooting 49.2 percent from the field and 35.0 percent from three-point range. • Paolo Banchero drops 31/14/4/1 line in Game 3 rout
Paolo Banchero finished Thursday’s 121-83 win over Cleveland with 31 points (13-of-26 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), 14 rebounds, four assists, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 29 minutes.

Advice: After committing 15 turnovers in the series’ first two games, Banchero produced a masterclass in Game 3. In addition to the gaudy double-double, he did not commit a single turnover in his 29 minutes on the floor. Orlando finished with eight as a team, which, along with the improved shooting, factored into their sparkling performance. Banchero and the Magic will look to even the series on Saturday. • Returns from locker room
Nance (leg) has rejoined the Pelicans bench after a brief trip to the locker room during Wednesday's Game 2 against Oklahoma City, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Nance went back to the locker room late in the third quarter but returned to the Pelicans bench to open up the fourth quarter. He should be considered good to go for the final period. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:42 pm
