      Advice: Wagner is known for his scoring ability, but in a game where Paolo Banchero and Jalen Suggs carried the offense, Wagner made his presence felt as a distributor, with his eight assists being his highest output since Dec. 26. Wagner should remain a capable presence on the offensive side of the ball for the Magic, as he's averaged 17.3 points per game through the first three contests of this first-round series.       Advice: Hartenstein picked up five fouls in the loss, limiting him to just 26 minutes. Mitchell Robinson went down with another ankle injury, meaning the Knicks are going to need Hartenstein to play the bulk of the center minutes.     • Franz Wagner dishes out eight assists in blowout
      Franz Wagner shot 6-of-12 from the field and 3-of-3 from the foul line in Thursday’s rout of the Cavaliers, accounting for 16 points, five rebounds, eight assists, and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes.

      Advice: Like Paolo Banchero, Wagner took much better care of the basketball than in Game 2. After committing six turnovers in that defeat, Franz did not record any in Game 3. In fact, Orlando’s starters were responsible for just one turnover, which was a major factor in the Magic’s first win of the series.       Advice: Holmgren was expected to have a tough matchup while being guarded by Jonas Valanciunas, but the rookie has looked outstanding in his first two playoff contests, posting a double-double in Game 1 and delivering his best scoring output in more than a month in the second game of the series.       Chet Holmgren scored 26 points (9-of-13 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs) in the Thunder’s win over the Pelicans on Wednesday. He totaled seven rebounds, an assist, two blocks, and three 3-pointers as well.

      Advice: Holmgren improved upon his previous outing in his second-ever playoff game. He led all players in blocks and only Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored more points in the contest.     • Isaiah Hartenstein rejects three shots in Game 2
      Isaiah Hartenstein played 30 minutes in Monday’s win over the 76ers, accounting for 14 points (7-of-8 FGs), eight rebounds, four assists, and three blocked shots.

      Advice: After playing 18 minutes in Game 1, Hartenstein was more involved on both ends of the floor in Game 2. He shot 7-of-8 from the field, and one of his three blocked shots was a Tyrese Maxey layup attempt that preserved the Knicks’ lead in the final seconds. Two OG Anunoby free throws and a Joel Embiid missed three later, and New York had a 2-0 series lead after holding serve at home. Mitchell Robinson (four rebounds, one assist in 18 minutes) had the “hot hand” in Game 1, and the minutes reflected that. On Monday, it was Hartenstein’s time to shine.       Advice: Like Paolo Banchero, Wagner had a rough night offensively. In addition to the poor shooting, he committed six of Orlando’s 16 turnovers (Banchero also had six). Also, Wagner appeared to injure his right shoulder during the final minute to make matters worse. Play never stopped, so he remained on the court through the final buzzer, which may land Wagner on the injury report ahead of Thursday’s Game 3. The other injury concern is Jalen Suggs, who strained his left knee during the first quarter.       Advice: Wagner struggled to find his shot a bit in Monday's defeat but still provided a lift offensively by ending two points shy of the 20-point mark while leading all Magic players in rebounds in a balanced performance.       Holmgren ended with 15 points (6-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, five blocks and one steal in 32 minutes during Sunday's 94-92 victory over the Pelicans in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

      Advice: Holmgren had all sorts of problems with Jonas Valanciunas on the glass, and his shooting wasn't entirely efficient. However, the rookie didn't look outmatched in the first playoff appearance of his career, particularly on the defensive end with a few key blocks down the stretch, including one in the dying stages of the fourth quarter where the Pelicans were creeping on a comeback. Holmgren is not going to lead the Thunder in scoring since he plays alongside Jalen Williams and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but he's still an excellent two-way threat every time he steps on the court.
