      Advice: Holiday continues to put up mediocre stats, something that has been a trend all season long. He has had to take a back seat since arriving in Boston, especially on the offensive end. With that said, the Celtics recently signed him to a sizeable contract extension, highlighting just how important he is to the team despite the lack of tangible numbers.       Austin Reaves provided a scoring boost on Monday with 19 points (6-of-11 FGs), three rebounds, four assists, three steals, two blocks and one triple against Denver.

      Advice: Reaves came alive in the fourth quarter and had nine points over the final six minutes of the game as the Lakers traded leads with the Nuggets. It didn’t end up being enough to keep their season alive, but Reaves was still able to turn in a solid stat line. This was year one of a four year deal that has been a bargain for the Lakers. That flexibility should allow the Lakers to reload this summer, with Reaves being one of the only players outside of LeBron James and Anthony Davis that should be a safe bet to be wearing purple and gold again next season.       Advice: Embiid’s knee has bothered him throughout the series with the Knicks, so it’s no surprise that he’s questionable for Game 5. Philly is on the brink of elimination, but it’s unclear if the Sixers want to risk further injury and fight for a Game 6 or give Embiid time to recover and essentially concede the series.       Advice: Embiid has averaged 35.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks in 40.3 minutes over the first four games of the opening-round series. However, the reigning MVP, who missed two months during the regular season after undergoing meniscus surgery, continues to be listed as questionable and has struggled in every fourth quarter thus far.       Bobby Portis has been ejected from Sunday’s matchup with the Pacers midway through the first quarter after a physical altercation with Andrew Nembhard.

      Advice: Portis and Nembhard got into it with just over five minutes to play in the first quarter. Both players were given technical fouls, but Portis was ejected after throwing hands. He finished with four points and three rebounds across seven minutes. Already down Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, the Bucks will have to turn to Andre Jackson Jr., Pat Connaughton and Danilo Gallinari to pick up the slack off the bench. Portis finished the contest with four points (2-4 FG) and three rebounds in six minutes of action.       Advice: The non-Embiid minutes have been problematic for the 76ers in this series, and that proved to be the difference in Game 4. Philadelphia was a minus-6 in the four first-half minutes that the reigning MVP did not play, and they lost by five. For the first time in his career (regular season or postseason), Embiid played the entire second half. While 76ers coach Nick Nurse said after the game that his star center was “feeling good and wanted to go,” Embiid was 0-of-5 from the field and scored one point in the fourth quarter.
