    • PJ Washington hits four triples, scores 14 points
      P.J. Washington amassed 14 points (4-of-9 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, two steals, and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes in Friday’s Game 6 win over the Clippers.

      Advice: Dallas bounced the Clippers in six games, with Washington providing solid supplementary contributions on Friday. Eight of his nine shot attempts came from beyond the arc, a byproduct of playing off Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. Washington has been a good fit on both ends of the floor since the Mavericks acquired him at the trade deadline, even if the individual scoring numbers took a hit compared to his production in Charlotte. His rebound, steal, and blocked shot averages increased after the trade, which is what Dallas hoped would happen.       Williamson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday's Game 4 against the Thunder.

      Advice: There was optimism that Williamson could return at some point in the postseason if New Orleans advanced, and that remains true as coach Willie Green said Sunday morning the superstar forward was cleared for stationary basketball drills, per Erin Summers of Bally Sports New Orleans. However, Williamson still isn't running and remains out while rehabbing a left hamstring strain he suffered during the team's first Play-In Tournament game against the Lakers.       Washington chipped in 10 points (5-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals over 34 minutes before getting ejected from Friday's 101-90 win over the Clippers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

      Advice: Washington was ejected following a scuffle with Russell Westbrook, much to the delight of the home fans. While losing a player is never a good thing, his energy and willingness to not back down proved a hit with the Dallas faithful.       Advice: If Williamson plays during this postseason, it will require the Pelicans to make it out of the first round. They’re currently down 0-2 to the top-seeded Thunder and lost by 32 points on Wednesday.
