Michael Porter Jr. tallies 27 points, 11 rebounds
Michael Porter Jr. finished Saturday’s Game 4 loss to the Lakers with 27 points (10-of-20 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), 11 rebounds, one assist, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 40 minutes.
Advice: Porter has been one of Denver’s most consistent players in this series, accounting for at least 19 points and eight rebounds in all four games. Saturday’s double-double was his second in as many games, but the 3-point shooting did slip while in Los Angeles. After shooting 9-of-17 in the series’ first two games, Porter was 6-of-17 from beyond the arc in Games 3 and 4. Don’t be surprised if he benefits from the return home for Game 5 on Monday night. Denver still holds a commanding 3-1 lead, and teams that opened a series 3-0 are 151-0 in NBA postseason history.
