      Brandon Ingram led the Pelicans with 19 points (7-of-14 FGs), five rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and two triples in a 106-85 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 3 on Saturday.

      Advice: With Zion Williamson sidelined, the Pelicans have needed BI to put the team on his back. He simply hasn’t been able to do that. He is averaging 18.3 points per game in this series, which isn’t All-Star level production. They’re now down 3-0 in this series, and they’ll need Ingram to step up his aggressiveness in Game 4 on Monday if they want to extend this series.       Hield ended Thursday's 125-114 victory over New York in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one block in four minutes.

      Advice: Hield barely touched the floor in the win, continuing his rapid fall from grace. He is basically an afterthought at this point, despite the fact the 76ers are not loaded with reliable talent.       Ingram produced 18 points (5-10 FG, 8-8 FT), four rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 124-92 loss to the Thunder in Game 2 of the Western Conference first round.

      Advice: Ingram wasn't as dominant as he looked in the Play-In victory over the Kings, but he posted a better stat line than he did in the series opener while also embracing a higher usage rate since Zion Williamson (hamstring) was sidelined. Ingram has surpassed the 15-point mark in just two of his five appearances since returning to action in the regular-season finale, and the Pelicans need him to be at his best for Game 3 against Oklahoma City on Saturday.       Brandon Ingram scored 18 points (5-of-10 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs) with four rebounds, three assists, a steal, and a block in the Pelicans’ Wednesday loss to the Thunder.

      Advice: Ingram didn’t post a particularly strong stat line but was efficient. He and Herb Jones only trailed Jonas Valanciunas in points among Pelicans players.       Advice: Murphy extended his streak of games scoring in double figures to 14 appearances (12 starts), and he ended up as New Orleans' leading scorer in this Game 1 loss while carrying the team at times in the second and third quarters. Murphy can get hot in any moment of a game, but even if that doesn't happen, he sees enough touches to make a consistent impact on offense.       Trey Murphy logged 44 minutes in Sunday’s Game 1 loss to the Thunder, posting a line of 21 points (8-of-18 FGs), four rebounds, two assists, one steal, three blocks, and five 3-pointers.

      Advice: Once again starting for the injured Zion Williamson (hamstring), Murphy was excellent on both ends of the floor in Game 1. The third-year wing made some timely baskets as the Pelicans mounted a rally that fell two points short while racking up four “stocks.” Offseason knee surgery derailed Murphy’s progress early in the season, but he has played solid basketball recently, outside of the Pelicans’ regular-season finale against the Lakers. With Oklahoma City devoting much of their defensive attention to CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram, Murphy and Herb Jones won’t lack opportunities to score. Jones struggled in Game 1, shooting 2-of-10 from the field and finishing with eight points, seven rebounds, four assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 33 minutes.       Advice: Ingram was playing in only his third game since missing the final stretch of the regular season, and while he wasn't at his best, he stepped up when called upon duty in a game where New Orleans didn't have Zion Williamson (hamstring).       Trey Murphy played 43 minutes in Friday’s win over Sacramento, amassing 16 points (6-of-12 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, six assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers.

      Advice: Due to Zion Williamson (hamstring) sitting, Murphy was back in the starting lineup for Friday’s “winner-take-all” matchup with the Kings. He was productive, with the turnover count (four) being the most significant issue. During the regular season, Murphy averaged 16.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 3.3 3-pointers per game in 23 starts.       Brandon Ingram shot 10-of-20 from the field and 3-of-3 from the foul line in Friday’s 105-98 win over the Kings, scoring 24 points with six rebounds, six assists, one block, and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes.

      Advice: With Zion Williamson (hamstring) out, Ingram had to do more as a scorer. He answered the call, shooting 50% from the field while dishing out six assists. Ingram was responsible for four turnovers, but the overall production (and contributions from the bench) were more than enough to make up for that. Also of greater significance was Ingram playing 37 minutes without issues; he logged 23 and 25 minutes in his first two games after returning from a knee injury. The Pelicans advance into the playoffs, where they’ll face No. 1-seed Oklahoma City in the first round. Game 1 is on Sunday night in OKC. Rotoworld Friday, 9:14 pm
