    • Shooting woes in Game 5 loss
Irving posted 15 points (5-16 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine assists, three rebounds and one steal over 41 minutes during Monday's 106-88 loss to Boston in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Advice: Irving struggled to get going in the Game 5 loss to the Celtics after a strong performance in Game 4, when he put up 21 points, six assists and four rebounds on 55.6 percent from the field. The eight-time All-Star averaged 19.8 points, 5.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 0.6 steals in five NBA Finals games while shooting 41.4 percent from the field. Irving has now been to four NBA Finals with a 1-3 record, and will hope to assist in leading the team back next season with Luka Doncic by his side. Rotowire.com 46 minutes ago
    • Kyrie Irving dishes out nine assists in Game 5
Kyrie Irving finished Monday’s 106-88 loss to the Celtics with 15 points (5-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, nine assists, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 41 minutes.

Advice: As in Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals, Irving struggled in Game 5. The nine assists weren’t enough to counter another poor shooting night, which is bound to leave a bitter taste in the Mavericks guard’s mouth heading into the offseason. Boasting a Yahoo ADP of 14.1, Irving exceeded that number in 8- and 9-cat formats. The veteran guard was slightly better in 9-cat, ranking within the top 10 according to Basketball Monster. The lone negative for Irving managers was the availability, as he was limited to 58 regular season games. While he certainly has top-10 fantasy potential, availability keeps him outside that threshold in drafts. Irving has met or exceeded 65 games once in his last seven seasons, except his final season in Boston (2018-19). Rotoworld Today, 8:48 pm
    • Gets garbage-time run in Game 4
Prosper posted zero points (0-2 FG), two rebounds and one assist in five minutes Friday in the Mavericks' 122-84 win over the Celtics in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

Advice: Prosper sprained his ankle in a practice prior to Game 4 of the Mavericks' first-round series with the Clippers and had been sidelined for multiple weeks before being cleared to play ahead of Game 1 of the NBA Finals. He didn't see any action in either of the first three games of the series, but with Friday's contest turning into a rout by the end of the third quarter, Prosper was able to make his NBA Finals debut in garbage time. • Scores 21 points in Game 4 victory
Irving accumulated 21 points (10-18 FG, 1-6 3Pt), four rebounds and six assists over 31 minutes during Friday's 122-84 win over the Celtics in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

Advice: Luka Doncic was the best player for the Mavericks in this Game 4 victory, but Irving posted a strong line as well. The veteran floor general reached the 20-point plateau for the second consecutive contest, and he'll need to be at his best if the Mavericks want to pull off the upset in Game 5 of the series Monday. Irving is averaging 21.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in the series. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:14 pm
    • Scores 14 points in Game 4 loss
Hauser provided 14 points (5-7 FG, 4-6 3Pt) and four rebounds across 20 minutes during Friday's 122-84 loss to the Mavericks in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

Advice: The fact that Hauser was among the Celtics' scoring leaders in a potential title-clinching game of the NBA Finals tells you all you need to know about Boston's offense in this loss. Boston was atrocious on offense and couldn't get things going throughout the contest, but Hauser at least provided a spark with his three-point shooting. Hauser is not expected to play a prominent role for Boston offensively in the rest of the series. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:08 pm
    • Kyrie Irving tallies 21 points in Game 4 blowout
Kyrie Irving played 31 minutes in Friday’s 122-84 win over Boston, amassing 21 points (10-of-18 FGs), four rebounds, six assists, and one 3-pointer.

Advice: Game 4 was the first time in this series that Irving has shot 50% or better from the field and made nine of his 12 2-point attempts. Outside of Game 3, when he shot 4-of-6, the 3-point accuracy has not been there for Kyrie. In Games 1, 2, and 4, he was a combined 1-of-14, well below his mark for the postseason (40.5%). Irving struggled mightily in the first two games of the NBA Finals, played in Boston. He’ll look to put forth a better effort when the series returns to Beantown for Game 5 on Monday. • Leads Dallas in Game 3 defeat
Irving supplied 35 points (13-28 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds and two assists across 45 minutes during Wednesday's 106-99 loss to Boston in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

Advice: Luka Doncic was disqualified in the fourth after picking up his sixth foul, meaning Irving had to step his game up, and the veteran floor general was Dallas' most reliable scoring alternative throughout the entire contest. Irving bounced back from two subpar outings in the first two games of the series, but not even his highest scoring mark of the current postseason run was enough to lift Dallas to victory. Irving will aim to keep the momentum going ahead of Game 4 on Friday, as the Mavericks will have their backs against the wall for the remainder of the series due to their 0-3 deficit. • Drains three threes in Game 3 win
Hauser ended Wednesday's 106-99 victory over the Mavericks in Game 3 of the NBA Finals with nine points (3-4 FG, 3-4 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 14 minutes.

Advice: Hauser led the Celtics with a plus-16 plus-minus ratio during the win. In addition to hitting three of four attempts from beyond the arc, Hauser also delivered excellent defense. The reserve forward stopped Mavericks star Luka Doncic on a few drives. Hauser's 14 minutes of run led Boston's bench. The three-point sniper has now hit 1.2 triples per game throughout the playoffs. The Celtics will try to sweep the Finals on Friday in Dallas. Rotowire.com Thursday, 6:03 am
    • Kyrie Irving rebounds, leads Mavs with 35 points
Kyrie Irving shot 13-of-28 from the field and 5-of-5 from the foul line in Wednesday’s 106-99 loss to Boston, accounting for 35 points, three rebounds, two assists, and four 3-pointers in 45 minutes.

Advice: Having struggled in the first two games of the NBA Finals, Irving apologized to teammate Luka Doncic between Games 2 and 3. He stepped up on Wednesday, knocking down four 3-pointers and scoring a game-high 35 points. Irving was at his best during the first half, shooting 8-of-14 from the field and scoring 20 points. However, like many of his teammates, things took a downward turn during the third quarter, and the Mavericks’ fourth-quarter rally was a case of “too little, too late.” Irving, who has lost his last 14 games against the Celtics, will look to avoid being swept on Friday night.
