  • LeBron James pours in 30/9/11/4 in Game 5 loss
    LeBron James led the Lakers with 30 points (11-of-21 FGs), nine rebounds, 11 assists, four steals and three triples in a 108-106 loss to the Nuggets in Game 5 on Monday.

    Advice: While it certainly won’t mean much, LeBron played well in this series and closed it out with another excellent performance. He averaged 27.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 8.8 assists, 2.4 steals, 1.0 block and 2.0 triples while shooting 56.6% from the floor through the five-game series, which was much closer than the gentlemen’s sweep makes it look. The Lakers were outscored by a total of 11 points in five games and were at the mercy of two game-winning shots by Jamal Murray.   • Leads bench with 16 points
    Marshall recorded 16 points (5-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one block across 22 minutes during Monday's 97-89 loss to the Thunder in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

    Advice: Marshall turned in an efficient shooting performance, scoring nine of his 16 points from beyond the arc. He had an inconsistent series at best, as he was held to five points in two of his team's four matchups on the way to being swept. Rotowire.com 11 minutes ago
     
  • Anthony Davis finishes with 17/15/4 line in loss
    Anthony Davis recorded a double-double on Monday with 17 points (8-of-11 FGs), 15 rebounds, four assists and two blocks against Denver in Game 5.

    Advice: After a strong first half, AD exited the game briefly due to a left shoulder injury. While he was able to play through it, he really wasn’t the same player after that. 16 of his 17 points came before halftime, and if he stayed healthy, the result of this game may have been different. AD has been banged up all season, but he was still able to play a career-high 77 games. Davis has been knocked in fantasy hoops over the last few years by his lack of games played, but he may have flipped the script this season.   • Battles through shoulder injury
    Davis suffered a left shoulder injury during the third quarter of Monday's Game 5 against the Nuggets but was able to return after visiting the locker room. He recorded 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-2 FT), 15 rebounds, four assists and two blocks across 40 minutes in the loss.

    Advice: Davis suffered the injury early in the third quarter on a play where he took contact to his left shoulder, and though he was able to remain in the contest immediately after, he was barely able to use his left arm. The 31-year-old exited the game with four minutes left in the third quarter and went to the locker room, later returning for the final period. The injury certainly impacted Davis on the offense end of the court, forcing LeBron James and Austin Reaves to shoulder a heavy workload down the stretch.   • Michael Porter Jr. turns in 26/4/1/2 line Monday
    Michael Porter Jr. lit up the Lakers with 26 points (8-of-12 FGs), four rebounds, one assist, two steals and five triples on Monday.

    Advice: MPJ had a spectacular series, which included him scoring at least 20 points in the final four games after scoring 19 in Game 1. However, what shouldn’t go unnoticed is that he logged 46 minutes in this game to help close out the series. He’s just two years removed from only playing nine games, and he has now played 86 games this season with only one absence.   • Nikola Jokic puts up 25/20/9 in closeout win
    Nikola Jokic stuffed the stat sheet on Monday with 25 points (12-of-21 FGs), 20 rebounds, nine assists, one triple and seven turnovers in Game 5 against the Lakers.

    Advice: For the second time this series, Jokic fell one assist shy of recording a triple-double. This time, he was one assist away from his second 20/20/10 triple-double of the series. He was unreal throughout their five games against the Lakers, averaging 28.2 points, 16.2 rebounds, 9.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 triples while shooting 59.1% from the floor and 92.6% from the line. They’ll move on to face the Timberwolves in the second round, which will be another tough matchup down low. However, that won’t prevent Jokic from putting up big numbers.   • Jamal Murray hits game-winner to close out series
    Jamal Murray led the Nuggets with 32 points (13-of-28 FGs), three rebounds, seven assists, one steal and five triples in a 108-106 win over the Lakers in Game 5 on Monday.

    Advice: For the second time this series, Murray came up big at the end to help Denver secure a win. He buried a pull-up jumper with about three seconds left, and the Lakers weren’t able to get a good shot up on the ensuing possession. Murray is no stranger to late-game heroics, as he also hit a game-winner in Game 2. The Nuggets will take on Minnesota in the second round after they swept Phoenix, which will be a rematch of last season’s first round series. The Timberwolves are one of the best defensive teams in the league, so Murray will likely have to make more big plays next series in their quest to repeat. Rotoworld 27 minutes ago

    Advice: McCollum didn't have his best shooting night from beyond the arc, but he still led the Pelicans with 20 points and also managed to stuff the stat sheet.
