  • Welcome back Silver Screen and Rollers. It's almost time for fantasy basketball again as training camps are just a few weeks away. Almost everybody has returned for this year. We have 4 new managers this year: Swaggy Azalea, Falcon PAUNCH!, Mr. Pink & Fortune's Favourites. Welcome to the league guys. League activity will continue to occur at SSR via weekly fanposts.

    I've already made a few changes to the settings of the league:

    1. Rosters have increased by 1. You will have 2 starting guards, 2 starting forwards, a center & 2 utility players, accompanied by 3 bench players.

    2. 3PT% was changed to 3PTM. I thought these two categories were to closely linked together when they were both %'s. 3PTM also brings value to some more guys on waivers.

    3. Playoff seeding is determined by overall record. Just as the NBA changed their seeding, division winner will no longer be guaranteed a top 4 playoff seed.

    4. The commissioner will not tamper with any roster adjustments, acquisitions or changes.

    5. The divisions were ne-named after last year's four teams with the best overall records, regardless or final standings.

    The following rules are still in place and am listing them here as a refresher and for the new managers:

    1. The waiver wire pickup days are Monday, Wednesday & Friday (3 times a week). Waiver requests need to be put in the night before the waiver are processed, not the day of.

    2. League trades will be decided by the co-commissioner, a friend of mine who has been playing fantasy sports for a long time. I will send him the proposed trade (not telling him anything about the 2 teams involved), and he will decide whether the trade is fair or not.

    3. The trade deadline is set for March 17th. The trade deadline ends at the end of the fantasy regular season.

    4. Max acquisitions per week is set at 5.

    5. Waiver wire budget is set at $100.

    Some additional information about the league:

    1. The Draft Lottery is scheduled for Sunday Oct. 4th at 1pm MDT.

    2. Draft time is set for Sunday, October 18 @ 9pm MDT.

    3. Waiver budget rules will be posted as an additional note on the league home page.
