    • Double-doubles in Game 1 loss
Haliburton totaled 25 points (8-18 FG, 6-14 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, 10 assists, one block and three steals in 40 minutes during Tuesday's 133-128 overtime loss to the Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Advice: The Pacers played a terrific game for the majority of the night but made some crucial mistakes in the final minute to allow Boston to sneak away with the win in overtime. The Pacers will be looking to bounce back in Boston for Game 2 Thursday. Haliburton has been terrific in the postseason, averaging 19.3 points, 8.2 assists, 4.9 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 3.6 three-pointers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:24 am
    • Undergoes left hand surgery
Brunson underwent successful surgery for his left hand fracture Wednesday and will be re-evaluated in 6-to-8 weeks.

Advice: Brunson picked up the fracture in Sunday's Game 7 loss against the Pacers, but with this timeframe, his status for training camp isn't likely to be in jeopardy. Brunson took his game to another level during the 2023-24 campaign, posting regular-season averages of 28.7 points, 6.7 assists, 3.6 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 2.7 three-pointers. • Tyrese Haliburton tallies 25 points, 10 assists
Tyrese Haliburton shot 8-of-18 from the field and 3-of-3 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 133-128 overtime loss to the Celtics, amassing 25 points, three rebounds, 10 assists, three steals, one block, and six 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

Advice: After hitting six 3-pointers in Indiana’s Game 7 win over the Knicks, Haliburton hit six more in the Eastern Conference Finals opener. However, turnovers and a minus-15 margin at the foul line proved costly for the Pacers. Haliburton was only responsible for three of the team’s 21 turnovers, but many of the team’s miscues were unforced. While Indiana can take solace in having a chance to win Game 1 against a well-rested opponent, the truth is that they let this one get away. Haliburton and the Pacers will look to grab home-court advantage in Game 2 on Thursday. Rotoworld Tuesday, 8:36 pm
    • Strong from deep in Game 7 win
Haliburton posted 26 points (10-17 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six assists, four rebounds, one block and one steal over 33 minutes in Sunday's 130-109 win over New York in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Haliburton once again led the way for Indiana offensively in a winner-take-all victory, leading all Pacers in scoring and threes made while handing out a half-dozen assists to help the Pacers advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. Haliburton ended the series by scoring 20 or more points in four of the seven contests, adding at least five assists in every game against New York. Rotowire.com Sunday, 3:20 pm
    • Tyrese Haliburton posts 26/4/6/1/1 line in Game 7
Tyrese Haliburton shot 10-of-17 from the field and 0-of-1 from the foul line in Sunday’s 130-109 win over New York, scoring 26 points with four rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block, and six 3-pointers.

Advice: Haliburton and the Pacers were outstanding in Game 7, with the road team coming out victorious for the first time this series. Indiana shot an NBA playoff-record 67.1% from the field and became the fifth team in NBA playoff history to score at least 130 points in a Game 7. Remove Games 1 and 5, and Haliburton was excellent, properly balancing setting up his teammates and seeking quality looks for himself. Indiana advances to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2014, with Game 1 of that series scheduled for Tuesday in Boston. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:16 pm
    • Diagnosed with left hand fracture
Brunson has been diagnosed with a left hand fracture and won't return to Sunday's Game 7 against the Pacers.

Advice: Brunson finishes Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals with 17 points (6-17 FG) and nine assists in 29 minutes. The Pacers hold a commanding double-digit lead, but even if the Knicks pull off a comeback and extend their season, Brunson would presumably miss extended time due to the injury. Alec Burks and Miles McBride are candidates for increased minutes in Brunson's absence. Rotowire.com Sunday, 2:42 pm
    • Jalen Brunson (left hand) will not return Sunday
Jalen Brunson (fractured left hand) will not return to Sunday’s game against the Pacers.

Advice: Already down multiple rotation players due to injury, the Knicks lost Brunson to a fractured hand during the third quarter. He was already nagged by a right foot issue, which appeared to limit his burst off the dribble. Brunson played 29 minutes, finishing with 17 points (6-of-17 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), nine assists, and one 3-pointer. As is the case with OG Anunoby (hamstring), Miles McBride and Alec Burks will play plenty as the Knicks attempt to rally. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:42 pm
    • Heads to locker room
Brunson went to the locker room late in the third quarter of Sunday's Game 7 against the Pacers due to an undisclosed injury, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports.

Advice: Brunson has dealt with a foot injury throughout the postseason, but it's unclear why he had to go to the locker room Sunday. The point guard has 17 points (6-17 FG) and nine assists in 29 minutes, so if he's unable to return, Alec Burks and Miles McBride will need to step up. Rotowire.com Sunday, 2:39 pm
    • Leads all scorers despite loss
Brunson amassed 31 points (11-26 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 6-9 FT), one rebound and five assists in 38 minutes during Friday's 116-103 loss to Indiana in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Brunson ended with a game-high 31 points, the majority of which came in the final quarter. He struggled to find his rhythm early in the game, at one point missing 11 consecutive shot attempts. The Knicks lost Josh Hart late in the game due to an abdominal injury. If the injury causes him to miss or at least play limited minutes in Game 7, Brunson may need to be at his absolute best if New York has any chance of moving onto the next round.
