      Advice: Cancar will become a free agent after Denver declined his team option. The 27-year-old missed all of last season after undergoing knee surgery, and teams will likely have concerns about his injury history. However, Durando relays that there is mutual interest in the Nuggets bringing Cancar back on a minimum contract, which would be mutually beneficial.       Morant (shoulder) said Saturday he will be medically cleared for basketball activities in about two weeks, CBSSports.com reports.

      Advice: Morant played only nine games last year due to a 25-game suspension and a major shoulder injury. He averaged 25.1 points, 8.1 assists, 5.6 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.4 steals across 35.3 minutes. The All-Star had successful surgery on his right shoulder in mid-January and will be able to practice soon, meaning he should be 100 percent for next season's training camp. According to Slater, Golden State will keep Looney under contract through Monday, though that doesn’t rule out the possibility that he could be traded down the road.
