    Victor Wembanyama has been named the 2023-24 NBA Rookie of the Year.

    Advice: While there was some suspense earlier in the season while Wembanyama was dealing with an ankle injury, the Spurs sensation took the league by storm once healthy and not playing under any restrictions. Wemby became the first player in NBA history to amass at least 1,500 points, 700 rebounds, 250 assists, 250 blocks, and 100 3-pointers. He became the first unanimous winner of the award since Karl-Anthony Towns in 2016, with Oklahoma City’s Chet Holmgren finishing second. Rounding out the top five were Brandon Miller (Charlotte), Jaime Jaquez Jr. (Miami), and Brandin Podziemski (Golden State). Wembanyama is also the first player from France to win the award.     Advice: Mobley was forced to move to center due to the absence of Jarrett Allen (ribs), but the former delivered another solid performance down low, showing energy on the glass and an accurate touch near the rim. Mobley posted three double-doubles in the series against the Magic while scoring in double digits in all but one of his appearances.     Advice: Banchero did everything in his power to keep the Magic alive in the playoffs, but even though his stat line was magnificent, the struggles of Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner were too much for Orlando to overcome, meaning Banchero couldn't carry the team to the next round on his own. Despite the early playoff exit, the series against the Cavaliers fully established Banchero as one of the league's up-and-coming superstars.
