    • T.J. McConnell tallies 10 points, 12 assists
T.J. McConnell played 23 minutes in Wednesday’s Game 2 loss to the Knicks, scoring 10 points (5-of-9 FGs) with four rebounds and 12 assists.

Advice: McConnell has played well in the first two games of this series, but that hasn’t been enough to convince Pacers coach Rick Carlisle to leave him on the court in crunch time. While the veteran point guard did the best job of making Jalen Brunson work for his scoring opportunities, starter Andrew Nembhard closed the game. While Nembhard (15 points, four assists, and one 3-pointer in 27 minutes) is more of a threat offensively, he has not been as effective defending Brunson in crunch time. While their places in the rotation may not change for Game 3 on Friday, don’t be surprised if McConnell’s minutes increase, as the Pacers can’t afford to fall into a 0-3 hole. • Pascal Siakam scores 14 points in Game 2 loss
Pascal Siakam shot 7-of-18 from the field and 0-of-2 from the foul line in Wednesday’s 130-121 loss to the Knicks, scoring 14 points with nine rebounds, two assists, and one blocked shot in 36 minutes.

Advice: After shooting 73.2% from the foul line during the regular season, Siakam has been even worse in the playoffs. He missed both attempts in Game 2, falling to 16.7% (1-of-6) for the series. Add in the six games against the Bucks, and Siakam is now 7-of-28 (25%) for the postseason. The Knicks potentially losing OG Anunoby to a hamstring injury will impact how they defend Siakam, with Precious Achiuwa taking on the responsibility down the stretch of Game 2. Regardless of who’s defending Spicy P, he must be much better at the foul line. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:22 pm
    • As advertised in Game 1 win
Holmgren totaled 19 points (8-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, three blocks and two steals over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 117-95 victory over the Mavericks in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Holmgren produced on both ends of the floor, scoring 19 points with five combined steals and blocks. After a stellar rookie season, Holmgren is looking to cement himself as an elite center despite his age. The Thunder will be hoping for a repeat performance Thursday before heading to Dallas for Games 3 and 4. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:40 pm
    • Chet Holmgren stuffs stat sheet with 19/7/1/2/3
Chet Holmgren posted a full line on Tuesday with 19 points (8-of-16 FGs), seven rebounds, one assist, two steals, three blocks and two triples against the Mavericks in Game 1.

Advice: Holmgren did a bit of everything in this game, which included plenty of production on the defensive end. After failing to record a defensive stat in their closeout win over the Pelicans, Holmgren got back on track in this one. While the steals and blocks are nice for DFS leagues, his defensive impact goes beyond the box score. Holmgren is a big reason why the Thunder has yet to allow 100 points in a game so far during this postseason. They’ll look to keep that streak going in Game 2 against Dallas on Thursday. • Kyle Anderson records full line in spot start
Kyle Anderson accounted for six points (3-of-8 FGs), nine rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in 26 minutes in Monday’s Game 2 win over Denver.

Advice: With Rudy Gobert (personal) back in Minnesota, Anderson was the choice to fill the void in the starting lineup. SloMo was most impactful as a rebounder, with seven of his nine coming on the offensive end of the floor. Given how well the Timberwolves have played, those extra possessions seriously damaged the reigning champions. Add in eight assists and three “stocks,” and Anderson had a solid night at the office. Gobert should be available for Game 3 on Friday, which would bounce Anderson back to the bench. Rotoworld Monday, 9:43 pm
    • T.J. McConnell chips in with 18 off the bench
T.J. McConnell shot 9-of-16 from the field in Monday’s 121-117 loss to the Knicks, scoring 18 points with one rebound, three assists, and three steals in 22 minutes.

Advice: With Tyrese Haliburton struggling in Monday’s series opener, McConnell stepped up to lead a bench unit that combined to score 46 points. The veteran point guard scored 20 points in Indiana’s Game 6 win over Milwaukee, so his ability to punish the Knicks is unsurprising. Also reaching double figures off the bench was former Knick Obi Toppin, who tallied 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, one block, and two 3-pointers in 19 minutes. Add Isaiah Jackson (8/5/1/0/3) and Ben Sheppard (8/2/2 with two 3-pointers), and the Pacers’ reserves played well enough to win Game 1. Unfortunately for them, the combination of New York’s Villanova trio and a few controversial calls was too much to overcome. Rotoworld Monday, 7:55 pm
    • Pascal Siakam posts 19/6/5/1 line in Game 1 loss
Pascal Siakam amassed 19 points (8-of-16 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, five assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Knicks.

Advice: Siakam has scored 19 points in his last two postseason games, appearing to turn the corner after going quiet in Games 3 through 5 of Indiana’s first-round series with Milwaukee. While all teams deal with injuries to a certain extent this time of year, it’s clear that Tyrese Haliburton’s back is still causing him trouble. As a result, the Pacers will need more production from Siakam and Myles Turner, and they combined to score 42 points in Game 1. Indiana will look to even the series at one game apiece on Wednesday. • Shines off bench in Game 1 loss
McConnell finished with 18 points (9-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three assists, three steals and one rebound over 22 minutes in Monday's 121-117 loss to New York in Game 1 of the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: McConnell provided a much-needed spark off the Pacers bench with the below-average offensive showing by Indiana's starting guards, leading all bench players in scoring while adding a trio of steals and assists in a balanced showing on the second unit. McConnell has been playing some of his best basketball of the postseason in his last two outings, posting at least 18 points and three assists in two straight contests. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:29 pm
    • MIN starting Conley, Edwards, Jaden, Kyle, Towns
Mike Conley, Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, Kyle Anderson, and Karl-Anthony Towns will start Monday’s game against the Nuggets.

Advice: Leading the series one game to none, the Timberwolves are without Rudy Gobert (personal reasons) for Game 2. Filling the void is Anderson, but the Stifle Tower’s absence also places more responsibility on Towns. KAT has picked up some silly fouls in the past; Minnesota can’t afford to have him land in early foul trouble if they’re to take a 2-0 lead. Rotoworld Monday, 6:37 pm
