  • Payton Pritchard chips in 16 points off bench
    Payton Pritchard provided a boost off the bench with 16 points (5-of-12 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal and four 3-pointers against Cleveland on Tuesday.

    Advice: Pritchard played a decent-sized role off the bench in the first round, but he didn’t make a significant impact like he did in this game. However, he kicked off this series with a solid performance as a reserve, and he wasn’t the only one. Luke Kornet, who has filled in as the backup center behind Al Horford, collected 10 rebounds and two blocks. Pritchard and Kornet should both continue to play important roles off the bench, but it is unlikely that either contributes in the box score to the level that they did in this game.   • Derrick White knocks down seven triples in Game 1
    Derrick White lit up the Cavaliers with 25 points (9-of-16 FGs), one rebound, five assists and seven triples in Game 1 on Tuesday.

    Advice: White was solid in the first half of this game, but he caught fire in the third, scoring 14 of his 25 points in the period. White has been arguably the best player for the Celtics during this postseason, and this was his third straight game with at least 25 points. Boston is one of the deepest teams in the league, and White has stepped up with Kristaps Porzingis injured.   • Jaylen Brown drops 32 points in Game 1 blowout win
    Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 32 points (12-of-18 FGs), six rebounds, two assists, one block and four 3-pointers in a 120-95 win over Cleveland in Game 1 on Tuesday.

    Advice: After only having one 30-point game in round one and scoring less than 20 points twice, Brown got off to a much better start in this series. He took over early in this game and scored 15 points in the first quarter, though they didn’t fully take control of this game until after that. Despite an off-night from Jayson Tatum (18 points on 7-of-19 FGs), the Celtics were still able to get a big win to open up the series.   • Donovan Mitchell scores 33 points in blowout loss
    Donovan Mitchell led the Cavaliers with 33 points (12-of-25 FGs), six rebounds, five assists, one steal and four triples in a 120-95 loss to the Celtics in Game 1 on Tuesday.

    Advice: This was Mitchell’s third straight game with at least 30 points, but it didn’t end up mattering in the end. Mitchell did most of his scoring in the first quarter (14) and third quarter (16), but he didn’t add much in the second and fourth quarter, which lined up with Cleveland’s offensive struggles. Mitchell was able to provide plenty of offense, but he’ll need help if the Cavaliers want to pull off the upset in this series.   • Isaac Okoro scores 11 first-half points Tuesday
    Isaac Okoro got another start on Tuesday and contributed 11 points (4-of-11 FGs), one rebound, one assist and three triples against Boston.

    Advice: With Jarrett Allen (ribs) sidelined for a fourth straight game, Okoro remained in the starting unit once again. He provided a solid punch offensively in the first half, but he wasn’t able to contribute much after the break. Okoro is a solid defensive piece, and he is a valuable player when he is able to space the floor and knock down open shots. However, that hasn’t always been the case, which has limited his fantasy value through the first four seasons of his career. He’ll continue to smart until Allen returns to the lineup.   • Won't be suspended
    The NBA announced Tuesday that Murray will be fined $100,000 but won't be suspended after throwing a heat pad and towel on the court during Monday's Game 2 loss to Minnesota, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

    Advice: Murray tallied just eight points in Monday's 106-80 loss to the Timberwolves, and threw a heat pad and towel on the court in frustration. However, the star guard will be available for Game 3 on Friday, as Denver will travel to Minnesota looking to avoid a 3-0 deficit. Rotowire.com Today, 4:28 pm
     
  • Shams: Jamal Murray won’t be suspended for Game 3
    Jamal Murray will be fined for throwing a towel and heat pad on the court during Game 2 against Minnesota on Monday, but he will not be suspended, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

    Advice: Murray had two separate instances of throwing items from the bench on the court during the Game 2 loss, but it won’t result in him missing any time during this series. A substantial fine should be enough for him to not throw anything else on the court, but if it happens again, a suspension wouldn’t be surprising.   • Tyrese Haliburton (back) questionable Wednesday
    Tyrese Haliburton (lower back spasms) is listed as questionable for Wednesday’s Pacers-Knicks matchup.

    Advice: Haliburton has struggled as of late and scored just six points his last time out. His lingering back issue hasn’t caused him to miss time, but T.J. McConnell could continue to be a more significant contributor if Haliburton doesn’t get back on track. Rotoworld Today, 3:07 pm

    Haliburton (back) is questionable for Wednesday's Game 2 against the Knicks.

    Advice: Haliburton continues to deal with back spasms that popped up ahead of Game 4 of the opening-round series versus Milwaukee. He scored only six points in Game 1 (2-6 FG) against the Knicks, but he did have eight assists and four steals. If the back issues worsen, we may see more of T.J.
