It was an unfortunate end for Porter after he managed to put together a strong season.       Michael Porter Jr. shot 3-of-12 from the field in Sunday’s 98-90 loss to Minnesota, tallying seven points, nine rebounds, two blocks, and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.

      Advice: While Jamal Murray (35) and Nikola Jokic (34) combined to score 69 points, no other Nugget scored more than seven in Sunday’s Game 7 defeat. Porter went ice cold, shooting 1-of-6 from beyond the arc and 3-of-12 from the field overall. Sunday night was a disappointing end for a player who provided fantasy managers with a top-75 season in 9-cat formats. Porter exceeded his Yahoo ADP (83.1) while appearing in a career-high 81 regular season games. As long as he stays healthy, MPJ should have a top-75 floor in fantasy basketball next season.       Advice: With OG Anunoby (hamstring) returning from a four-game absence and Josh Hart playing through an abdomen injury he suffered in Game 6, McBride will shift to his usual reserve role. It may have mattered more had Jalen Brunson not going 2-of-13 from the field in the first half, and Josh Hart was limited with an abdominal injury. McBride wasn’t as impactful as in Game 5, but the Knicks should be encouraged by his offensive output in Friday’s defeat. They’ll need a similar effort from Deuce in Game 7 on Sunday afternoon.       Miles McBride played 40 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Pacers, amassing 17 points (7-of-15 FGs), one rebound, four assists, and three 3-pointers.

      Advice: Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau decided to move McBride into the starting lineup for Game 5, and that shift helped New York regain momentum in the series. Deuce’s presence gave the Knicks another ball-handler to deal with the Pacers’ full-court pressure, and he also helped harass Tyrese Haliburton on the defensive end of the floor. McBride getting 15 shots was a bit surprising, but he took advantage of those opportunities well.
