He and Nikola Jokic scored 69 of the Nuggets' 90 points, highlighting just how unimpactful their bench was. While it was a disappointing end for Murray, his production this year aligned with what fantasy managers expected coming into the season.       Nikola Jokic accumulated 34 points (13-of-28 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), 19 rebounds, seven assists, one block, and two 3-pointers in 47 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Timberwolves.

      Advice: Jokic recorded another elite stat line, but his production tailed off in crunch time. Minnesota’s depth and Denver’s lack of consistent options factored into the Joker playing tired, and the NBA will have its sixth champion in as many seasons. Jokic was once again one of the best players in fantasy basketball, ranking third in 9-cat formats and second in 8-cat. His days as the unquestioned 1.1 pick in drafts may be finished, as Victor Wembanyama appears poised to take over, but Jokic should be no worse than 1.3, regardless of league.       Jamal Murray shot 13-of-27 from the field and 5-of-5 from the foul line in Sunday’s 98-90 loss to Minnesota, scoring 35 points with three rebounds, three assists, and four 3-pointers in 43 minutes.

      Advice: Murray came out scalding hot on Sunday, scoring 24 points in the first half. However, he cooled off considerably after halftime, and the lack of consistent help from Denver’s supporting cast doomed the Nuggets. Murray, who had a Yahoo ADP of 41.2, finished the regular season as a 3rd-round player in 9-cat formats. The negative was his availability, as injuries limited Murray to 59 games. It would benefit fantasy managers if he can get to (or above) 65 games played.       Chet Holmgren finished Saturday’s Game 6 loss to the Mavericks with 21 points (9-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, one assist, two steals, and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.

      Advice: Despite scoring 21 points, Holmgren’s final game of the season wasn’t his best. More concerning than the 1-of-7 night from three was the rebounding, with the rookie only grabbing three. By comparison, Mavericks rookie Dereck Lively II grabbed 15 by himself. Holmgren’s struggles to rebound prompted Thunder coach Mark Daigneault to go with a bigger lineup down the stretch, with Jaylin Williams (6/2/2/1/1 with one 3-pointer in 18 minutes) joining the rookie in the frontcourt. Overall, Holmgren had an excellent rookie campaign, finishing second to Victor Wembanyama in Rookie of the Year voting and providing top-20 per-game value in 9-cat formats. Based on his Yahoo ADP, Chet was expected by many to be a 4th-round player. Those days are over; he should not get out of the third round in standard league drafts, and that’s being conservative.       Advice: Murray has been listed as questionable throughout the entire series, but that's not surprising, as the star point guard has been dealing with a left calf strain since the end of Denver's first-round series against the Lakers. The Nuggets may need Murray to be at his best if they want to win Sunday, as he's coming off a woeful showing in the Game 6 loss on Thursday, scoring 10 points while shooting 4-for-18 from the field.
