      The Nets traded Bridges to the Knicks in exchange for Bojan Bogdanovic (foot/wrist), four unprotected first-round picks, a protected first-round pick via the Bucks, an unprotected pick swap and a second-round pick on Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

      Advice: Bridges will head to the Knicks after being traded from Phoenix to Brooklyn in a package for Kevin Durant in 2022-23. Last season, Bridges averaged 19.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.0 steals in 34.8 minutes across 82 appearances, all of which were starts. In New York, Bridges will likely start at one of the forward spots, especially if the team is unable to retain OG Anunoby in free agency. Bridges is one of the league's most effective three-and-D wings, has displayed impressive availability throughout his career, and has a good relationship with former Villanova teammates Jalen Brunson, Donte DiVincenzo and Josh Hart.     • Woj: Nets trade Mikal Bridges to Knicks
      According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Nets are trading Mikal Bridges and a 2026 second-round pick to the Nets in exchange for Bojan Bogdanovic and multiple future draft picks.

      Advice: Well, add another Villanova alum to the Knicks roster. Bridges is reportedly headed from Brooklyn to Manhattan in a deal that will cost the Knicks a significant amount of draft capital. In addition to Bogdanovic, the Nets will receive four unprotected firsts (2025, 2027, 2029, and 2031) from New York, another 2025 first via Milwaukee (top-4 protected), and an unprotected pick swap. Bridges’ fantasy value took a hit this season as the marquee offensive option, and he’s been at his best when able to play off of a star. How valuable he is will depend on whether or not the Knicks can also re-sign OG Anunoby.       According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Pascal Siakam will sign a four-year, $189.5 million max extension with the Pacers.

      Advice: Siakam can sign the deal on July 6 when the free agency moratorium period ends. It’s not a surprising update based on earlier reports indicating he’d return to Indiana on a long-term deal. Rotoworld Wednesday, 6:49 am

      Siakam agreed Wednesday with the Pacers on a four-year, $189.5 million maximum contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

      Advice: Siakam plans to officially sign the contract once the free agency moratorium ends July 6. After coming over from Toronto in Jan. 17 trade, Siakam proved to be an ideal fit in the Pacers frontcourt and was instrumental in helping lead Indiana to an appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals. Over his 41 regular-season appearances with the Pacers following the trade, Siakam averaged 21.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.0 three-pointers and 0.8 steals in 31.8 minutes per contest while shooting 54.9 percent from the field.       According to Pacers beat writer Scott Agness, Pascal Siakam and the Pacers are nearing a long-term contract extension.

      Advice: According to Agness, “Both sides know how each other feels [and] want the partnership to continue.” It’s not surprising news considering Siakam’s trade to Indiana at the end of his expiring deal. The belief was that he would stick around for the long haul after the Pacers traded for him, and he’ll be back with Tyrese Haliburton, Myles Turner and the rest of Indiana’s young core as the team looks to replicate the success it found in an Eastern Conference Finals run this season. Siakam averaged 21.3 points on 54.9% shooting, 7.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.0 triples across 41 appearances for the Pacers and finished 77th in per-game fantasy value in that span. The terms of the proposed deal aren't known yet, but Siakam is likely getting a maximum deal or close to it.       Tatum had 31 points (11-24 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 11 assists, eight rebounds and two steals across 45 minutes during Monday's 106-88 win over the Mavericks in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

      Advice: Tatum had an all-time classic of a game to help deliver Boston banner No. 18 on Monday. The five-time All-Star was the first Celtics player since Larry Bird in 1986 with 20-plus points, 10-plus assists and five-plus rebounds in an NBA Finals game. The 26-year-old averaged 22.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.6 blocks across five contests in the Finals. Overall, Tatum was spectacular in the 2023-24 playoffs, averaging 25.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.7 blocks while shooting 42.7 percent from the field.       Jayson Tatum shot 11-of-24 from the field and 8-of-8 from the foul line in Monday’s 106-88 win over the Mavericks, tallying 31 points, eight rebounds, 11 assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer in 45 minutes.

      Advice: The Celtics wrapped up their 18th NBA championship on Monday, with Tatum leading the way as a scorer and creator. He made some history, becoming the first Celtics player to account for at least 20 points, 10 assists, and five rebounds in an NBA Finals game since Larry Bird in 1986. The championship caps quite the journey for the Celtics star, who has been an elite fantasy option for most of his career. Tatum’s scoring average dropped by more than three points per game compared to his 2022-23 production, so he finished the regular season ranked 15th in 8- and 9-cat per-game value, according to Basketball Monster. That certainly isn’t “bad,” but most fantasy managers were hoping to get top 5 value out of the Celtics star. Tatum’s ceiling still makes him a player who should be selected in the first round of most drafts, but Boston’s depth slightly lowers his fantasy ceiling. Rotoworld Monday, 8:08 pm
