    • To become free agent
The Pistons declined Umude's (ankle) team option for the 2024-25 season Saturday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

Advice: Umude missed the end of the 2023-24 season with a hairline fracture in his ankle, and a timetable isn't currently known. Umude will now have to test the open market as a free agent after making 24 appearances with the Pistons last season with averages of 5.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.0 three-pointers. • Report: Damion Lee declining Suns player option
According to Hoops Hype’s Michael Scotto, Damion Lee has decided to opt out of his player option with the Suns ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Advice: Lee missed all of last season with a meniscus tear and will look to pursue a new deal after taking all of 2023-24 to recover from surgery. He averaged 8.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game in his lone full season with Phoenix. Rotoworld Today, 3:07 pm
    • Will test free agency
Lee (knee) declined his $2.85 million player option with the Suns on Saturday, and he will test unrestricted free agency, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

Advice: Lee saw decent playing time in his first, and possibly last season with Phoenix. The 31-year-old averaged 8.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists across 20.4 minutes in 74 regular-season games. What was most impressive about Lee's game was his improved shot from range. The six-year NBA veteran set a career-high 44.5 percent from beyond the arc. Rotowire.com Today, 3:01 pm
    • Hits free agency
The Knicks did not extend a two-way qualifying offer to Brown (concussion) on Saturday, making him an unrestricted free agent, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Brown played on a two-way contract with the Knicks last season, but made just eight appearances at the NBA level. He's likely to have a lukewarm market in free agency. Rotowire.com Today, 2:45 pm
    • To become free agent
The Jazz did not extend a qualifying offer to Lewis on Saturday, making him an unrestricted free agent, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Lewis will now be able to test the open market to find a new franchise. After Lewis was traded from the Raptors to the Jazz in 2023-24, he proceeded to make just 12 appearances with 3.8 points and 1.6 assists per game. Rotowire.com Today, 2:34 pm
    • Jazz extends qualifying offer
The Jazz extended a qualifying offer to Juzang on Saturday, making him a restricted free agent, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Juzang's role grew with the Jazz towards the end of the 2023-24 campaign, so it's not a surprise to see that they are interested in keeping the score-first guard around. Juzang spent a lot of time in the G League as well, but in his 20 appearances with the Jazz, he produced averages of 7.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.6 three-pointers. • Declines player option with Heat
Martin declined his $7.12 million player option Saturday, and he will become an unrestricted free agent, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

Advice: Martin revived his career coming to the Heat after starting with two lackluster years on the Hornets. Over his three year span with the club, the 28-year-old averaged 9.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.9 steals across 26.6 minutes. The swingman will likely garner interest from around the league seeing as he was a key part of Miami's NBA Finals run in the 2022-23 season. Rotowire.com Today, 2:20 pm
    • Exercises player option
Reddish (ankle) exercised his $2.46 million player option for the 2024-25 season Saturday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

Advice: Reddish had the worst statistical year of his career in 2023-2024, during which he averaged 5.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals across 20.5 minutes in 48 regular-season games. The 24-year-old has bounced around as of late, playing for four different teams over the last three years. Reddish has failed to live up to his draft stock, and he will hope to improve next season before becoming an unrestricted free agent in 2025-26. Rotowire.com Today, 2:02 pm
    • Enters free agency but could return
The Thunder declined Wiggins' $2 million team option Saturday, but the team is expected to offer the 25-year-old a long-term deal, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Wiggins' efficiency was through the roof last season, during which he posted a career-high 56.2 percent from the field in his third year with OKC. The 25-year-old is expected to be brought back on a long-term deal with the Thunder once free agency officially opens in July. By doing this, the Thunder allow themselves to spend $30 million before hopefully re-signing both Isaiah Joe and Wiggins. In a career-high 78 regular-season appearances last year, Wiggins averaged 6.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.7 steals across 15.7 minutes per game. Rotowire.com Today, 1:29 pm
