    • Report: Sasha Vezenkov will not return to Kings
Sasha Vezenkov has informed the Kings that he does not intend to return for the second year of his contract, per Mihalis Stefanou of Euro Hoops.

Advice: Vezenkov is under contract for this upcoming season, so he can’t simply “not return”. However, there is plenty of time for them to trade him or buy out his contract. Stefanou’s report also indicates that Vezenkov hasn’t decided if he will continue to play in the NBA or return to Europe. Vezenkov averaged 5.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 triple in 11.9 minutes per game across 44 appearances. He may have some upside if he lands with a different team that will grant him a larger role, but this shouldn’t have a direct impact on fantasy hoops at this point. Rotoworld Today, 9:03 am
    • Wants out of Sacramento
Vezenkov has informed the Kings he does not plan on returning for the second year of his contract, Mihalis Stefanou of eurohoops.net reports.

Advice: Vezenkov has a guaranteed contract for the 2024-25 season without an option, so it is possible that the Kings could waive him in the offseason. It is unclear whether the 28-year-old will remain in the NBA or make a return to Europe. Vezenkov logged his first action in the NBA last season with Sacramento and averaged 5.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists across 12.2 minutes in 42 appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 7:48 am
    • Little impact in Game 1
Jones ended Thursday's 107-89 loss to Boston in Game 1 of the NBA Finals with five points (2-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt), six rebounds and one steal in 29 minutes.

Advice: Jones struggled inside the arc and wasn't able to catch any signature lob dunks, largely due to the interior presence of Kristaps Porzingis. Game 1 also marked the first time he's failed to record an assist since Game 4 against the Clippers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:43 am
    • Available for Game 1 of Finals
Prosper (ankle) is available for Game 1 of the 2024 NBA Finals against the Celtics on Thursday.

Advice: Prosper used the break between the Conference Finals and the NBA Finals to recover from his injury, and he's ready to step on the hardwood for the first time since April 21. He's logged just one minute this postseason, so he's not expected to play a prominent role in the series. Rotowire.com Thursday, 4:36 pm
    • Olivier-Maxence Prosper (ankle) active Thursday
Olivier-Maxence Prosper (left ankle sprain) is available for Thursday’s NBA Finals opener against Boston.

Advice: Prosper has been sidelined since Game 1 of Dallas’ first-round series against the Clippers. The rookie wasn’t a consistent rotation member during the regular season, so there’s no need to consider O-Max for DFS lineups. Rotoworld Thursday, 4:36 pm
    • Olivier-Maxence Prosper (ankle) questionable Thur.
Olivier-Maxence Prosper (left ankle sprain) is questionable for Thursday’s NBA Finals opener against the Celtics.

Advice: Prosper, a rookie who appeared in 40 regular season games, has been sidelined since Game 1 of Dallas’ first-round series against the Clippers. If available for Game 1 of the NBA Finals, O-Max is unlikely to get the minutes needed to impact DFS tournaments. Rotoworld Wednesday, 3:37 pm
    • Upgraded to questionable
Prosper (ankle) is questionable for Game 1 of the NBA Finals against Boston on Thursday, Mike Curtis of The Detroit News reports.

Advice: Prosper has been ruled out ahead of every postseason game thus far, so his upgrade to questionable is noteworthy. While he's unlikely to play a significant role in the NBA Finals, the rookie could be another body to throw at Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, as Prosper's 6-foot-7 frame allows him to wreak havoc defensively. • Minimal impact in loss
Alexander-Walker recorded zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one assist and two steals in 14 minutes during Thursday's 124-103 loss to the Mavericks in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals.

Advice: Alexander-Walker averaged just 3.4 points, 1.6 assists and 1.2 rebounds in 15.4 minutes across the Western Conference. He also struggled mightily with his efficiency, shooting 28.6 percent from the field and 18.8 percent from three across the five contests. However, the 25-year-old guard converted 39.1 percent of his 4.1 three-point attempts per game during the regular season and will head into the 2024-25 campaign under the last year of his two-year, $9 million contract. • Goes down swinging
Towns ended Thursday's 124-103 loss to the Mavericks in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals with 28 points (9-20 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 9-10 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 38 minutes.

Advice: Despite putting up his best game of the series Thursday, Towns' efforts weren't enough to avoid defeat. The 28-year-old big man tied Anthony Edwards for a team-high 28 points and led Minnesota in rebounding. Towns will finish the Western Conference Finals averaging 19.6 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 33.2 minutes. He also struggled mightily with his efficiency, shooting just 37.9 percent from the field and 24.2 percent from three across the five games. Rotowire.com Friday, 1:24 pm
