Brandon Ingram leads Pelis with 19 points in loss
Brandon Ingram led the Pelicans with 19 points (7-of-14 FGs), five rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and two triples in a 106-85 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 3 on Saturday.
Advice: With Zion Williamson sidelined, the Pelicans have needed BI to put the team on his back. He simply hasn’t been able to do that. He is averaging 18.3 points per game in this series, which isn’t All-Star level production. They’re now down 3-0 in this series, and they’ll need Ingram to step up his aggressiveness in Game 4 on Monday if they want to extend this series. He made 50% of his shots in this game after shooting 50% in Game 2 as well. They simply need him to shoot more, which is something that Lu Dort hasn’t made easy.
