• Craig Porter Jr. (ankle) out for Game 7 on Sunday
Craig Porter Jr. (left ankle sprain) is out for Sunday’s game against the Magic.

Advice: Porter’s continued absence will not impact the Cavaliers’ rotation, as he has not played since the regular season finale. Even if he were healthy, starters Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell will log heavy minutes as Cleveland looks to avoid another first-round exit. Rotoworld 31 minutes ago
  • Gary Harris (hamstring) questionable for Game 7
Gary Harris (right hamstring strain) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cavaliers.

Advice: After injuring his hamstring during Tuesday’s Game 5 loss to the Cavaliers, Harris did not play in Game 6 on Friday. Jonathan Isaac returned to the starting lineup, making Orlando the first team in postseason history to start four players listed as 6-foot-10 or taller. Isaac did not score in Game 6, but he did grab nine rebounds in 23 minutes on the court. Rotoworld 32 minutes ago
  • Out again Sunday
Porter (ankle) will not play in Sunday's Game 7 against the Magic.

Advice: This will be the seventh game in a row on the shelf for Porter, and he remains without a timetable for a return. Rotowire.com 36 minutes ago
  • Questionable for Game 7
Harris (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's Game 7 against the Cavaliers.

Advice: After suffering his hamstring injury in Game 5, Harris missed his first game of the series on Friday in Game 6. If the veteran is unable to suit up Sunday, Jonathan Isaac could potentially make another start due to his defensive versatility. Rotowire.com 37 minutes ago
  • Expected to play Saturday
Denver coach Michael Malone said he expects Murray (calf) to play in Saturday's Game 1 versus Minnesota, but he remains a game-time call, Brendan Vogt of TheDNVR.com reports.

Advice: Murray will go through his usual warmup for Game 1, and if he gets through it without any setbacks, he should be all set to take the court. Murray was terrific in the previous round against the Lakers, posting 23.6 points and 7.2 assists per game. Rotowire.com 46 minutes ago
  • Jamal Murray (calf) expected to play in Game 1
Nuggets coach Michael Malone said during his pregame availability that he expects Jamal Murray (left calf strain) to be available for Saturday’s game against the Timberwolves.

Advice: Murray’s game-winner in Game 5 of Denver’s first-round series against the Lakers advanced the champs into the second round while also giving him valuable time off. The Nuggets have not played since Monday, and while their starting point guard remains questionable for Saturday, the expectation is that he will play. Should that not be the case, Reggie Jackson would move into the starting lineup. Rotoworld 48 minutes ago
  • Picks up option for 2024-25
Ball (knee) has picked up the $21.4 million player option in his contract for the 2024-25 season, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Advice: Ball continues to work toward a potential comeback before he hits the open market next summer, as he signed an original four-year, $80 million free agent deal in 2021, so it was a no-brainer for him to pick up this option. Ball hasn't logged minutes at the NBA level since Jan. 2022, but both the player and the organization are hopeful he'll be able to step on the hardwood at some point during the 2024-25 campaign. • Report: Pels unlikely to offer Ingram an extension
According to Forbes Sports’ Evan Sidery, the Pelicans are unlikely to offer Brandon Ingram a contract extension this summer.

Advice: Ingram, who struggled in the Pelicans’ first-round loss to Oklahoma City, is due to make a little over $36 million in the final season of his deal. He can sign an extension worth up to $208 million over four years. However, with Pelicans lead executive David Griffin saying during his post-season availability that changes will be made, Saturday’s report could be a sign that New Orleans is open to parting with Ingram if a proper deal can be made. Trey Murphy is also extension eligible, but his price tag is considerably lower than Ingram’s, whose 64 games played in 2023-24 were the most he’s been available for since being traded to New Orleans in 2019. Murphy would have the most to gain regarding fantasy value if Ingram is dealt, depending on the return. Rotoworld Today, 11:05 am
  • Carries Mavericks to Game 6 win
Irving provided 30 points (11-19 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 3-5 FT), six rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals across 42 minutes during Friday's 114-101 victory over the Clippers in Game 6 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: Irving led the Mavericks on offense and was a consistent weapon alongside Luka Doncic, reaching the 30-point mark in three of the six outings in the first-round series against the Clippers. He should continue to play a prominent role on offense for Dallas ahead of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Thunder. Rotowire.com Today, 6:42 am
