    • Shams: LAC signs Kevin Porter Jr. to two-year deal
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Clippers have signed Kevin Porter Jr. to a two-year deal that includes a player option.

Advice: Due to alleged domestic violence charges in September 2023, Porter did not play at all in the NBA last season. Houston traded him to Oklahoma City, who waived the 2019 first-round pick just before the start of the season. He reached a plea agreement in January, with the charges being pleaded down to a third-degree misdemeanor for reckless assault. By joining the Clippers, Porter can show he can be productive on a team with playoff ambitions. How valuable he can be with the Clippers depends on what happens with Paul George and Russell Westbrook. The former is an unrestricted free agent, while the latter could be on the move despite opting into the final season of his contract. If George and Westbrook move on, Porter is one of the players who could benefit from the available playing time. Rotoworld 11 minutes ago
    • Set to return to NBA
Porter and the Clippers have agreed to terms on a two-year deal that includes a player option, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Porter didn't play in the NBA last year after being arrested on an assault charge on a domestic incident that occurred in September. He played overseas in Greece in April and May and will return to the NBA on a multi-year deal with the Clippers. It's unclear whether Porter will face discipline from the league during the 2024-25 season. Over 59 regular-season appearances with the Rockets during the 2022-23 campaign, Porter averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 34.3 minutes per game. • Inks two-year deal with 76ers
Drummond will join the 76ers on a two-year deal worth more than $10 million, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

Advice: Drummond will return to Philadelphia where he played 49 games during the 2021-22 season, after spending the last two years with the Bulls. The veteran big man averaged 8.4 points and 9.0 rebounds in 17.1 minutes per game across 79 appearances last season. Drummond will serve alongside Paul Reed as backup to Joel Embiid. • Andre Drummond to join 76ers on two-year deal
The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports that Andre Drummond will join the 76ers on a two-year deal worth north of $10 million.

Advice: Philly struggled at the center position while Joel Embiid was injured last season, with Paul Reed and Mo Bamba underwhelming in his place. Drummond offers a big-man presence who should fill in for Embiid much more reliably than Reed or Bamba. The veteran center averaged 14.1 points, 17.9 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 1.8 blocks in 10 starts for Chicago last season. Rotoworld 22 minutes ago
    • Shams: Celtics, Neemias Queta agree to extension
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Neemias Queta has agreed to a multi-year deal to remain with the Celtics.

Advice: Queta was out of the Celtics rotation for most of last season, averaging 11.9 minutes per game in 28 appearances. However, Kristaps Porzingis undergoing leg surgery will open up opportunities for players such as Queta and Luke Kornet, as KP is expected to miss 5-6 months. Queta isn’t a draftable player in fantasy leagues, but he may have streaming value throughout the season. Rotoworld 28 minutes ago
    • Slated to return to Boston
Queta has agreed to a multi-year deal with the Celtics, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Queta entered the offseason as a restricted free agent after the Celtics extended him a qualifying offer, and he'll remain with the team on a multi-year deal. Over 28 regular-season appearances with Boston last year, he averaged 5.5 points and 4.4 rebounds in 11.9 minutes per game. Rotowire.com 29 minutes ago
    • Parting ways with Philadelphia
Batum doesn't plan to return to the 76ers in free agency, Kelly Iko of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Batum will hit free agency following a season in which he appeared in 60 games including 38 starts. Batum saw a significant role in the playoffs, averaging 6.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 28.3 minutes per game during Philadelphia's first-round matchup against the Knicks, proving he still can add value to a team. As such, the 36-year-old pro will likely receive some interest in free agency. Rotowire.com 44 minutes ago
    • Likely to be released by Jazz
The Jazz are planning to waive Yurtseven Sunday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Advice: The Jazz are planning to part ways with Yurtseven, who averaged 4.6 points and 0.6 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per game across 48 appearances last season. Yurtseven will likely garner interest from teams in a limited, backup big man role. Rotowire.com 58 minutes ago
    • Report: Nicolas Batum not returning to 76ers
According to Kelly Iko of The Athletic, Nicolas Batum will not be re-signing with the 76ers.

Advice: While Batum gave the 76ers solid minutes last season, re-signing him is not a priority, with Paul George and Klay Thompson being rumored targets. Batum should land with a team with playoff ambitions, but he’s unlikely to do enough to offer reliable fantasy value. Rotoworld Today, 3:28 pm
